Outstanding "Trap to Table" Steamed Lobster!  If you want a fresh steamed lobster in Boston, the ones here are SO DELICIOUS!

We had been meaning to come here for a while, but was a bit reluctant because of some of the reviews... I should not have worried!  The spot is beautiful. We sat outside overlooking a lovely marina and the food was outstanding.  We will be coming back soon. More...

We moved into the area a few months ago.  My wife was born and raised in Rome and has food allergies.  Needless to say she is picky with her food.  The people at Victory Point are great.  Donato truly cares about his customers and his staff is always friendly.  We have had numerous meals including a party of 20 for our sons birthday and so far it's been very good.  The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the Tiki bar is a great option. Highly recommend the Eggplant Parm!  They also have some great live music! More...

Friendly staff and a great view of the marina make this restaurant a stand out. The clam chowder was great and the oysters were fantastic, the only thing that could have been better was the pasta dish that I ordered with lobster came out and the lobster was still completely in the shell.  Not a big deal if I ordered steamed lobster but this was in a pasta dish with red sauce so cracking the lobster to get the meat was a messy ordeal. Tasty, but very messy. More...

The waitress was new with a southern accent and awesome.  Appetizers were really good (mussels, chowder and calamari) but if you like crispy calamari be sure to ask for it. We ordered 5 meals and most were ample and fresh except for the shrimp scampi which was served with undercooked pasta.  They were quick to take it off the bill and even brought my daughter a chocolate lava desert to keep her happy!!Good meal-- surprised to see it wasn't busier on Sunday Funday. First off, we went here thinking it was Captain Fishbones, a super casual, family place. We walked in with our toddler and immediately felt out of place since it was mostly singles. They have high chairs for the kids, but no kids menus, or kids cups.  We probably would have walked out if not for our server, Michael who made us feel so welcome. He immediately asked our toddler her name and made us feel comfortable. He went out of his way to make chocolate milk for her in special cups he created. So awesome. The food was good, my husband started with clam chowder and I the beet salad. So yummy. The décor is so beautiful and rustic. I would definitely go back her but not with our toddler. :) More...

Went on a recommendation and loved it. The owner, Anna, was a tremendous host. This is authentic Italian fare. The chef is right out of Rome. The calamari was nice and tender and not over breaded. I had the short ribs and it was so good I didn't want to finish it because it'd be done. My wife had the seared scallops with homemade parfedelle. She loved it.  They had some IPAs and a good selection of beers. The inside bar is pretty big. Can't wait to go there when the outside bar is open. Anna says live music (desperately needed in Quincy) will start up this Wednesday. It's fairly nice atmosphere with the benefit of it being right in the water. Such a great upgrade over the drab Fishbones that was there before. I live in Quincy and avoid Marina Bay restaurants because they're so average and pricey but I'll be back to Victory Point many times again. More...

Yesterday we had our anniversary lunch and the food was very good. We had crab cakes, beer,  Ketel one Martinis, fisherman platters, Eggplant Rollanti, and cannolis. When we arrived by LYFT and entered the restaurant we were greeted by the host who was very pleasant. We were given menus and started with drinks, Ketel one Martinis and beer. The Our server was awesome as were the drinks, beer, and the Martini. , Perfect choice for a drink. We were brought rolls that were warm but didn't eat them because there are too filling when you have appetizers coming also because they were white rolls,( not wheat)Crab cakes and rollatini arrived piping hot, as did the crab cakes. Both were delicious and lots of nice crab were visible. Soon we got our fisherman's platters which were cooked to perfection, not one drop of oil was visible. As a chef for 40yrs, I couldn't have done any better than this myself. My only complaint was that no clams were  visible on the seafood platters, which is my favorite seafood item. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I would return here in a heartbeat. This was a great 12 yr anniversary dinner, cannolies were complimentary,YUM The Rosenburgs(Jay&Jack) More...

We made reservations for 2 around 6:15 on a Saturday but it wasn't needed surprisingly. This place has a stunning view of the marina with both nice inside and outside seating. The staff was wonderful and inviting and created great conversation and helpful tips when I said I just moved here! When I say this stuffed lobster was the best thing I have ever had I wasn't kidding. This restaurant is new the marina and I remember this area and the view is outstanding. Victory point has a very extensive menu with options for all! I started with the crab cakes which had mostly crab with no filler and that was a huge plus for me. I also am a craft beer buff and they had many beers to choose from I chose the clown shoes mango kolsh which complimented my appetizer excellently. I finished my meal with the avocado salad with a piece of herb crusted salmon on top and it was delicious and more than expected. The only down fall was..... nothing! Great spot must go More...

So far so good for this new restaurant at the marina.  Nice views and outside seating are a big plus.  Or meals were tasty, drinks not skimpy and the staff were great. As with any new establishment they need to work out the kinks but are well on the way.  Our only complaint was that the lighting was way too bright at night,  Some candles at the tables and bar would help a great deal as wellWe have deserted the restaurant at the other end of the boardwalk as the "new chef" gutted their menu and replaced all of the popular items with unpopular items.  Victory Point has a great opportunity to pick up all of the displaced customers so don't mess it up! The guest of honor was beyond thrilled that they've brought back the delicious double fried chicken wings. The Chef did an incredible job on the sliders, clam chowder, bacon wrapped scallops, mini crab cakes and grilled sausage skewers too.
