I would get them five stars, but their staff INCLUDING the chef does not know how to treat their guests. We placed a reservation for 10, to which they will call you and tell you they cannot seat you in your whole party, they will give you two tables. The male server randomly came out yelling instead of just simply asking "what may I help you with?" After we mistaken the busser for our server. The chef then follows out after male server had berated us in the dining room, the chef comes out immediately yelling WHOS (put reservation name here) WE CANNOT PUSH YOUR TWO TABLES TOGETHER! Refuses to allow me say two words to form the sentence of what the issue was, multiple times YELLED FOR ME TO STOP TALKING HES TALKING. And it continued. How embarrassing. Don't waste your money. We found this gem on Yelp. It is in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is very nice, and elegant inside. Definitely  date worthy.First we started with a Caprese salad. I split it with my sister and it was beautiful (visually). It was very good as well despite the hot house tomatoes but what can you expect this time of year..I had the papardel al Mare. YUMMY, JUST YUMMY.a lovely lemony butter sauce, served hot with well cooked shrimp and scallops.My sister had the Riggatoni which was also great. Pasta was well cooked, al Dante. Mama Mia! This is the BEST Italian food I have ever had in Las Vegas~I'm not kidding! The chef makes his own pasta from scratch. If you've ever woken up the next morning drooling because you were dreaming about last nights meal, this is the place! I've had numerous dishes here - all extraordinary. My fav is the Papardelle Al Mare, shrimp and scallops with ribbon pasta. (OMG my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it!) Last night three of us went for my husbands birthday. We had two appetizers: Calimari and Shrimp Scampi, a Caprese Salad and three entrees, oh, and a Cheesecake. It came to a grand total of $113 & change (plus tip). True mom and pops family restaurant ❤ The portobello ripieno (stuffed with crab meat) is a must try appetizer! We all really loved our entrees-- Beef medallions, lobster and shrimp fra diavolo, mixed seafood cioppino, chicken parmigiana, and my favorite, rigatoni boscaiola. Not only is this restaurant something SPECIAL!  it's AMAZING!!!We celebrated my mom's birthday and everything was awesome!  Staff is very pleasant, allowed me to decorate the table, bring in a specially made cake and took exceptional care of all of us!!!!The wine, appetizers and entrees were cooked to order, fresh and hot and the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our celebration  even the staff participated in singing happy birthday!!I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice quite delicious meal! Very friendly staff- operated by a small family. Food was delicious - starting with the amazing bread and butter. Loved the Italian wedding soup and caprese salad.  We had super yummy ravioli and Melizana (eggplant). Amazing desserts! We devoured the creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. I was also so happy to find out they serve Lavazza coffee (getting harder to find lately) so I ordered an espresso with our dessert. This location is such a peaceful clean oasis away from the noisy and often stinky (smoke/vape filled) Vegas Strip. Viareggio is a great family run Italian restaurant.  We come here regularly. The prices are reasonable and the portions are a good amount. The food is always great. We have never had a dish we didn't like. The crab stuffed mushroom appetizer is top notch. The service is always very good. The experience here was absolutely amazing!We actually thought we had made reservations for somewhere else but I am SO glad we made it here. The food was AWESOME, David and the other young lady (wish we would gotten her name) were so attentive but not overbearing. It was husband's bday and they even brought him out the dessert we ordered with a candle and sang happy birthday (and the other customers joined in)! Very quaint but loving family business atmosphere.To start, even the bread was on point- warm, not too hard, but still a little crunch on the outside. The mushroom and lobster appetizer and fried mozzarella were unbelievable. Then the dinner came out and it was PERFECTION! Hubby had the special with lobster, shrimp and pasta and I had the Lobster ravioli. Cheesecake for dessert and it didn't disappoint either. Food was awesome, I ordered raviolis and the flavors we amazing! But there seems to always be a catch.... We ordered bruschetta for an appetizer and before I could even finish my sentence the snotty waiter corrected me on a very minor mispronunciation of bruschetta. ... We then waited for a half an hour for the bruschetta to come out with 5 pieces of bread with hardly any other topping!  On top of that I had asked for an Italian sausage with my ravioli for a bit of protein to go with dinner and the waiter (wearing crocks, a dirty shirt and a half attempt for a hair style) charged me $16 dollars for a single overcooked sausage on a cheap cheese patty with the opposite sauce that I had ordered for my ravioli. This was brought out 5 minutes after the bruschetta... so it could sit and get cold while we waited for the rest of our food. When the other waitress came to ask how things were we mentioned how long we had been waiting, and she just nodded and went on. We had been waiting for about an hour now for our food... finally the food comes, I got a whole 6 ravioli and my kids portion of spaghetti was two times bigger than the chicken Alfredo my wife ordered!  If we do come back it's to try for a last chance. What a delicious experience!We went at a perfect time- only a couple tables were there. Service was great, food was amazing. Even after eating a rich pasta dish with vodka sauce, I left feeling good and not heavy. My husband's chicken dish had fresh asparagus and a light sauce. Viareggio was a wonderful experience.  Don't let the unassuming exterior fool u, the interior is bright, immaculate, and welcoming.  Italian music adds to the ambiance.  The food - ah, the food.  Fried calamari- tender, not greasy and with a marinara sauce that had a little kick.  Delicious.  Our entrees, also delicious - filet mignon in mushroom sauce and chicken piccata - were as good as any we've had.  Better than most.  We're fortunate to have eaten in many great restaurants.  Our dessert was the the best panacotta without question.  My husband ordered the Chianti which he said was very good.  This was a meal to remember.  The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.  The chef's skills evident in every bite.  We booked to go back.  Reasonably priced.  Wonderful evening out.
