The founder of Vespucci's Marketplace, Lorenzo Vespucci of Newark, has been in the catering industry for 40 years. When the opportunity presented itself to open a retail/catering facility in the same location that for 50 years was the home of "Espositos of East Hanover", Lorenzo saw no other choice but to seize the opportunity.

Always loved their paninis, but recently the bread they used has changed, the recipe for the roast beef panini is different (formerly RB, mozzarella, carmelized onions on buttered Pamela bread), sandwiches are not warm or pressed. Love all other food there, but pleases bring back old paninis! More...

Just had “The 1st Ward” sandwich and it was amazing! The fried chicken cutlet was not dry, the mozzarella was fresh, the red peppers delicious and the arugula and balsamic was just the right amount! Spectacular job!
