If you want to come here, make sure not to go earlier than 8pm. Fun starts when the live music starts around 7:30 to 8pm. Order the charcuterie board and maybe a bottle of wine and you're set! They don't serve dinner.

My wife and I just moved to the area and tried out this place the other night.   What a great place, cool atmosphere and decor and good wine.  The outdoor firepits were a very nice touch (note to owners: remove other tables and add more fire pits) and were a perfect bit of warmth on a chilly evening.  The guy playing acoustic guitar outside (sorry, I didn't catch his name) was very enjoyable and perfect for the setting.  Enjoyed singing along.   Will definitely be back here More...

Nice little weekend spot to check out with friends! They have few beer options and even fewer cocktails, but if you're into reds, whites, and rosé, this place is for you. I enjoyed the moscato, though it was probably the sweetest moscato I've ever had in my life. Which, don't get me wrong, I prefer sweet drinks in general, but it was almost tooooo sweet. The white sangria was my second and last drink, only because the waiter told me they didn't have vodka when I tried ordering the vodka lemonade from their menu. Soo... a little disappointing, since that cocktail sounded really good. I'd like to try the red sangria next time! Didn't get a chance to try their food but it's a little more highbrow than I'm used to anyway. The fire pits are awesome on a chilly night, and the aesthetic of the bar's inside is super cool--baroque and elegant, you feel transported to Europe! (I've never been to Europe... so Versai let's me pretend.) I highly recommend going on a weekend night when there's live music for added fun. Joe Leonardi was a wonderful source of soulful folk music covers! Thanks for making our Saturday night even more entertaining with your smooth guitar playing, Joe. Lovely time at the Versai Wine Bar. Many delicious wines by the glass. Loved the lobster bisque, pretzel bites and the chicken meatballs (spicy but really good). First time last night....and we went on a whim.  I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my wine and meal.  The atmosphere makes for a lovely evening with girlfriends.  We would've liked to have sat outside amongst the twinkly lights, but for last minute with no reservation, I think we were lucky to get a booth.  I had one of the specials last night which was ahi over risotto with fresh steamed veggies and a mango salsa.  TO DIE FOR.  I will definitely be back. After three trips here I feel qualified to make my observations.  Tucked into a strip mall, this is a surprisingly elegant dining spot.  The oversized wooden ceiling decorations, bar tables and wine cabinets give this a very old-fashioned yet modern and comfortable feeling to the surroundings.   There are two different menus here.  One is for the bar area, and one is for the patio/ regular restaurant area.  So far I have only tried the bar area menu.  I've tried several of the wines and beers, most of which seem  typical but good, and fairly priced.   Some of the food items seem a bit pricey based upon the serving portion (coconut shrimp is only three pieces), but the saving grace here is that the presentation and quality of the food has either been very good, to excellent (hummus plate, lamb chops).  Special food requirements have usually been met with ease, just ask!  What can I say about the staff?  From the bartenders, to the servers, to the food runners, everyone has been very kind and accommodating.  The live entertainment on Saturday has been the primary reason that I go to Versai.  Always great singers are here.  Maybe I can check out the regular menu next time. Some of this five star rating might be to blame on my amazing first date :)  but wow this place is so unique and cute, highly recommend an evening by a fire pit on the patio. What a wine selection! Went with friends for the first time this evening to Versai. This is a great little place with a HUGE selection of wine. They have delicious small plates. We had the short ribs, flat iron steak and cheese and meat platter and everything was delicious.The patio is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy your wine. I was googling for a wine place and found their website. Was very impressed so i decided to take my boyfriend. It was a first time experience for both of us and we were more than pleased. I didn't want to sit in Friday traffic and decided to kill some time at Versai Wine Bar.  What a great decision!  NOTE: it's attached to Fitness Grill, just to the left.  It's so quaint and you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in.  There was a gentleman playing acoustic guitar, which added a nice touch.  I had a cheese flatbread pizza and some pretzel bites.  Both were delicious.  Crust was perfect on the pizza, cheese was nice and hot, and there was just the right amount of tomato sauce.  This paired beautifully with the Luminary (sp ) Cab blend.  Steve served me, and is a truly knowledgeable Sommelier, as he recommended this.  Next on the list was a Dragons Tooth Cab blend, which I had with the pretzel bites. The bites come with three sauces/dips and all are delicious.  The mustard flavored dip was my favorite.  Robert, the Owner, was also there and made it a point to go around and check on all the guests ... another good sign.  It was my birthday the day before so I treated myself to a glass of Icewine (Peller Estates -YUM). Steve overheard me saying it was my birthday to the people sitting next to me, and came out with a lovely Creme Brûlée to have with my wine. STUNNING combination!  Overall, a wonderful evening and I couldn't be happier that I stopped by. Between's Steve's knowledge, attentiveness, and personality to the free birthday treat (nice to do for a first-timer), to the warm welcome by the Owner.  WIN all the way around.  Thank you, Versai! What a Gem! It is very small and I wish they had more seating by the fire pits but we settled for bar stools. The minute I sat down I knew I loved this place. The live musician was acoustic guitar and singing which made the place come alive. The wine! I had a Dragontooth Cabernet blend at $20 a pop in a nice glass to bring out the flavors. Versai is a tiny little wine bistro that served as a good jaunt for me and a few gal pals after a long day at work on a Thursday night. Our main server, Steve, was great in maintaining composure and ensuring that our thirsty/hungry palettes are served accordingly. When I first visited Versai Wine Bar I thought "did they forget the lles at the end?" . Putting that aside, this place is a very nice little gem in a shopping strip mall and not what you'd expect . It was extremely intimate and their wine list was very impressive. You can tell it's a great spot for date night or to have drinks with friends. It's located next to Fitness Grill. There's an outdoor and indoor area. We sat outside around an amazing fire pit . In between the indoor and outdoor area is a small area where a performer was playing his guitar and singing, even taking requests. One of my friends asked him to sing the blues and he wowed us all! There's a small tapas/appetizer menu, the majority of the menu is beer and wine selections. I'm not a connoisseur of either but my friends are and they were not disappointed with the wines and the flight of beers of they ordered. I had the salmon plate and it was delicious! The short and sweet of this place is, if you're in the area and are looking for a good spot for a few glasses of wine or beer, good music, great service, and an intimate atmosphere, then YES visit Versai without the "lles" at the end. Oh Jackie behind the bar! What an awesome, fun lady!! Thank you for taking such great care of us! Versai has a great selection of wines, beers and sparkling wines! They have great options for food as well, I'm gluten free, and they were very accommodating and helpful with suggestions and things that would work for me! Jackie was so sweet and helpful, friendly and warm. The Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with Gorgonzola cheese for delicious. We also had the charcuterie and cheese platter which was huge and perfect for three people. It was absolutely delicious! Fantastic atmosphere for a date night or drinks with friends! I'm always looking for new intimate wine bars and wineries that serve beer as well. This place has got it! I tried several wines, and my fiancé had 2 beers. He had a Goose Island IPA and the Matilda Belgian Pale Ale, both of which he liked.I sampled all 3 rose they had, and chose a glass of the Clarendelle. The Clarendelle has a lovely floral scent, almost like perfume. The Grenache/Syrah rose, I kid you not, smells like peanut butter, and tastes like peanut butter and jelly. Try it. I also sampled the Luminary Cabernet, which really smells like grape, but does not taste like grape. It is very smooth and not too heavy.Just FYI, the wine list online is not up to date with what they currently have available, but they seem to have good taste in what they carry.Food! We tried the Versai bruschetta, chicken poppers, and the Versai flat bread pizza with chicken and onions. Lamb poppers are on the menu, but you can't order them. The bruschetta was amazing! He had the chicken poppers and the pizza, and said they both were really good.We went on a Saturday evening, and they had a very friendly jazz musician playing. An absolute wonderful find!  Small, intimate and cozy.  The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting.  My friend and I have been in for the live music a couple of times.  The fire pits are very popular but hard to get a seat near.  Ethan was our server and he is both helpful and very cute!  He was very knowledgeable about the wide variety of wines they serve and introduced us both to a crisp and quite fruity white.  A wonderful place that is hidden within its surroundings.  We actually stumbled upon Versai about two months ago but have been back three times, since.  LOVE IT! We went here for the first time today, and you would never tell that you were in a strip mall. A very eclectic place with it's own classy environment. The wait staff were very polite, especially Ethan, he was so sweet and helpful and a pleasure to talk too, (very cute too!) we will be back because of him! The gentlemen performing was great and interacted with the audience in a very fun but not intrusive way. The food and wine were supberb and not too pricey! We got the Chicken BBQ Pizza and Turkey Meatballs, but the Bruschetta app was delicious! The have hundreds of wines to choose from with indoor and outdoor sitting and fire pits for larger parties. What a gem this place is! Small but very cozy. My girlfriend and I stopped by here last night for the first time. They had live music.
