We hired Vermont Tent Company to set up a tent on a private residence for our wedding. This was a unique situation because my husband and I got married on an Air BnB property that we had not yet had the chance to see prior to Vermont Tent Company's site inspection. There wasn't enough soil depth for the stakes so cement anchors had to be brought in, which meant a larger tent than originally ordered. Vermont Tent Company discounted the tent to offset the cost of the cement anchors. There were a lot of moving parts with our small wedding since it was also being catered and the two vendors needed to work together to make sure the caterer would have everything they needed to cook on property. I highly recommend Vermont Tent Company for events in the Burlington area. There are companies out there with lower prices but I decided to go with Vermont Tent because of their office's proximity to our wedding venue, and I'm so glad I did! My contact Roberta was wonderful to work with - she never tried to upsell us on anything but made sure we had everything we wanted and needed, in addition to double-checking everything through many, many changes to our order in the months leading up to our wedding. When I told her we were hoping to get all of the tables set on Friday morning, she arranged for an early delivery at no extra cost. They have a wide selection of tableware and linens, and I was very pleased with their quality (wish I could have taken the silverware home!). Their delivery team came earlier than expected on Sunday morning, so we weren't quite ready for them, but the guys were kind enough to help us gather the stray glasses and chairs that our caterers weren't able to pack away. Vermont Tent Company was the obvious choice for rentals for our wedding. We ended up just renting tables and chairs to keep costs down. We found it was much cheaper to buy linens and silverware online rather than rent (from anywhere). The staff at VT Tent were very responsive and professional. Everything we received from Vermont Tent was perfect. They were however quite late getting to my venue so we had to rush to set up so that we could get ready for rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We must have changed our order with VT Tent & Company at least a dozen times and Briana (and the rest of her team) were helpful and accommodating each and every time. They were even able to get our tent permitting in order but allow us to wait to make a final decision about getting the tent until a few days out. Also, it's amazing all that they have to rent out. We could not have been happier with the service, quality, and professionalism of the Vermont Tent team for our wedding in Stowe. Long distance wedding planning would normally be challenging, but Emily at VT Tent was wonderful about making suggestions, offering advice, and answering questions as we navigated all the decisions about tents, dance floors, lights, lanterns etc. for our 230 person wedding. Our sailcloth tent with wooden poles, bistro lights, and natural colored chairs looked gorgeous. The setup was on schedule and the crew arrived as planned to break everything down. Emily at Vermont Tent was absolutely wonderful to work with! Our venue was a blank canvas and we had to rent almost everything. It was overwhelming, but Emily guided us through everything and made it fun! Vermont Tent Company was THE BEST choice we made in planning our wedding. We went about 99.5% DIY on all of our wedding planning, including making all of the food ourselves! And we seriously contemplated going with a cheaper tent company that would have required us to set up the tent ourselves, but I can not put into words how incredibly worth it it was to have the guys from VT Tent Company come in, set everything up in less than 2 hours and then tear down in less than 1 hour! Emily was so incredibly helpful with all the preparations and my (slightly OCD) micro-management and ever-changing rental list! ;) Having bid several companies in Vermont and New Hampshire we chose to swallow the hefty delivery charge to have VT Tent Co. come south to Windsor, and it was COMPLETELY WORTH IT to have their experience, know-how and efficiency on our side! Emily was great to work with! We rented umbrellas for ceremony musicians, stage for reception band, chandaliers, chivalry chairs, napkins and glassware for the reception. Some of these items we didn't originally plan on but were so glad she recomended them because the extra touches made a big difference. We had some struggles with our event location and she stepped up and helped even though it wasn't her responsibility. VT Tent CO was super easy to work with and very accomodating. Nancy Meade was fantastic to work with! She often had questions (for me to ask of other vendors) that I never would have known to ask otherwise. The tent was beautiful and while the dance floor was a little rough around the edges (literally - not for stockinged feet) the whole thing was great. Their packages are all inclusive which takes a lot off your mind...everything for each guest from linens to tableware is included. The prices are comparable but not the cheapest you'll find...the service was worth the extra though. Everything went off without a hitch and everyone loved the look and feel of the whole thing. I worked with Grace and was overjoyed at how great she was to work with! Compared to other weddings, I ordered a minimum of items to rent because I provided many of my own linens and other items.
