Velvet Crown Restoration

We first met Sy when our plastic kiddie pool fell off my wife's car into the middle of the road. Sy was the only person who pulled over and stopped to help--that's the type of honest and caring person he is. A local guy with a family. When a storm damaged some of our siding, we didn't know any contractors to call. Our insurance company sent out Sy, and we immediately felt at ease. From the emergency repair, to working with our insurer, to the selection and installation of the replacement siding, Sy's company (Velvet Crown Restoration) was top notch. Sy helped us out tremendously with the insurance company--placing many calls, reviewing the insurance company's own estimate, and helping us understand each step of the process. Once the repairs started, his crew worked quickly, was always on-time, cleaned up thoroughly, and was very courteous. They went the extra mile looking for nails in the dirt since they know we have small children who play in the yard. As part of our exterior repairs, we also needed assistance with painting and electrical work--and Sy referred us to other contractors who came out quickly and who also did a great job. I had a significant roof leak which incurred damage down into my first floor bedroom & the vaulted ceiling in the kitchen.  Sy Fields was responsive to my calls in a timely manner, came out & assessed the potential issue, and showed up at the exact time scheduled on both occasions in which I needed him.  The costs seemed quite fair & not overpriced whatsoever.  He & his crew were courteous, professional, and kind.  Thank you Sy for making an otherwise painful situation less so!   Jennifer, Allentown, PA More...
