We came this weekend and were the last ones there, luckily we had amazing service and great food. Highly recommend the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. I ordered a strawberry mojito which was perfect for me not too sweet or too much alcohol. We got an appetizer on the house which was great. We also ordered queso fundido with chorizo which was delicious with corn tortillas. Both of our dinners were delicious. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium for me. My plantains cooked perfectly, moist and sweet. The flavor and seasonings were on point even my coconut rice. We will definitely be back. More...

When I say I eat out a lot, I am not kidding. Some call me a foodie! I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants, but I have to say this is the best one I have ever been to in my entire life! And I have traveled all over the world and ate a lot of Mexican food! I am so glad that on Cinco de Mayo every place else was too packed which brought me here… We got in right away, the service was great! The house margaritas are a perfect mix. I highly recommend getting the guacamole trio. One of which has fresh pineapple! I would’ve never thought to try that but it is so good! Next I ordered the queso with mushrooms. Amazing! The menu has all of the traditional Mexican dishes plus a ton of seafood options, even a lobster burrito! I couldn’t decide between the lamb or the braised beef short ribs and the owner said to try the fajitas! So I did! Oh… My… God! So much food and it was so delicious! I am almost hesitant to post this because I don’t really want the secret to get out. Lol I’m kidding, you must try this place! I guarantee you will keep coming back! Good job!! More...

We went to Velero's last night to celebrate my birthday. First of all, they had a man playing guitar and he was excellent! My friend and I ordered the mango margarita and a spicy margarita and they were so good. The food was outstanding! My husband ordered the lobster burrito and I had shrimp tacos.
