We are SOO happy to have decided on hosting our magical wedding day at Vecoma! It rained on our wedding day, so we ended up having our ceremony inside, and Caroline and her team along with my flower guy (Blake Pippin) made the mantle/fireplace so beautiful with the flowers and lanterns. It was so beautiful!!! Thank you so much for everything you did to make sure our day came together without any venue issues!! I sooo highly recommend Vecoma for any event you're planning, if you want awesome customer service, excellent communication throughout the process, and nice friendly staff. We also had an awesome (and cheap!) in-house DJ (DJ Kirk Moten) who took care of the ceremony & reception music. We especially appreciated DJ Kirk, Frank, and Caroline's help during our special day!! This venue is beautiful, the staff is professional and absolutely will make your wedding a day to remember. My daughter was married there June 8, 2019, and we were rained out of the beautiful outdoor setting, but indoors proved to be beautiful, intimate and memorable enough to offset any disappointment about the weather. My husband and I fell in love with this venue the second we saw it and it was everything we wanted and more! Caroline was fantastic and helped us throughout the process make sure our expectations were met (and they were far exceeded)! The staff the day of the event was phenomenal...everyone had a smile on there face and made sure it ran without a hitch. I can’t say enough great things about this venue, the owner and the staff! We got married here in August last year. Caroline the owner is an absolute angel. She was so helpful and patient throughout the whole planning stage and we also used her as our photographer and the photos are stunning.The venue is beautiful and doesn’t need much to make it pretty. Not only was it affordable- they were also the most laid back venue, which swayed our decision. You can book additional hours to have your party go late into the night, which was a big deal for us as many other venues closed by 11pm. With them we got to party until 2am. They also let me bring my own decor, desserts & cake at no charge and even some Nigerian dishes to add to their buffet- which they served. The food was delicious and plenty! Other venues wanted to charge for all that.On the day they had a lovely team who were so helpful with setting up. And when we sat down for the reception, the manager thoughtfully brought us hot food and champagne to the sweetheart table, ensuring that we got to eat. I’ve been to weddings before where the staff were not friendly and it really brings down the mood. They made all our guests feel welcome and comfortable and they took the stress out of the day.The location is beautiful and abundant with nature. We had a wonderful reception at Vecoma. Communication before the wedding was easy. My emails were always answered promptly. During the reception, the staff were very attentive. It was raining when we arrived and I was met at our car by a staff member with a large umbrella. I also liked how they served my husband and I at our table and checked back frequently to see if we needed anything. We used also used Vecoma Photography and DJ Kirk. Having in-house photography and DJ services is very convenient, but we also loved working with Caroline and DJ Kirk. They were very responsive to our requests and I have received nothing but glowing reviews from my guests about the venue, photography, and DJ. Why wouldn’t you want to have an event- wedding or other function - here? Can’t say enough about the professionalism of each staff member. The owner, Caroline, not only runs the place but she is the photographer if you choose to use her. This made all of the photo sessions go smoother and faster. We also chose to use the resident DJ and he kept things flowing and the volume reasonable. The building itself is beautiful - so inviting. December weather is unpredictable and I didn’t think we would have an outside wedding by the river as my daughter wanted. We did! The staff is so well trained that they can setup and move anything in a moment’s notice. When we left that night all I could think was “that was amazing” and I owe so much of it to my daughter’s planning and to Caroline and the Vecoma staff! More...

Caitlin is very responsive to emails and overall very helpful.
The day of the wedding.. beautiful weather, lovely venue. 4 hours of allotted time isn’t enough in my opinion. The day flew by extremely fast. Every time I turned around the cake was gone, ice cream was put away. We never got to have either one. Their desire to keep the place clean was a bit of a turn off to some of the guest. Repeatedly asking if they were finished with their plate to take away, and vacuuming before our allotted time ended and guest were gone were just some of the few. Thank goodness for my hired wedding planner separate from the venue who told me the extra time I needed for photos after the ceremony was fine, because one staff member at Vecoma repeatedly attempted to cut the process short. Jennifer at Weddings by Epic is amazing and I couldn’t Have organized the day of without her, she helped it to be Soo stress free!
There are many rules to follow at this venue with no wheelchair access if you have an outside ceremony. So make sure to review all of those things before choosing the venue best for you. This was my first venue I visited and the inside was already so lovely I just Knew it was the look I was Going for with little work to be done for decorating. Y'all my wedding was perfect! I loved everything about this venue and it was the perfect size for my more intimate style wedding with a 50 person guest list. Vecoma is such an amazing venue! From the moment you book you are guided through a seamless process of planning and Caroline is amazing when it comes to details. The decorations were so beautiful that we didn't need to add much besides centerpieces. Its such a secluded venue right on the river. We decided to go with the house photographer as well and WOW were we impressed! Being a photographer myself I was truly amazed at the beautiful moments she had captured.
