We absolutely loved this restaurant. What delicious food, excellent service, and such a nice location. Before dinner we took a stroll around the waterfront boardwalk with nice views of Boston and perfect sunset lighting. We were seated immediately and the restaurant had a cool ambiance with the Godfather, Godfather 2, Goodfellas, and Casino playing non-stop on the large screens. The three of us shared one of the delicious nightly special appetizers which had calamari, scallops and shrimp. We also got Mamma Rosetta's Famous Meatball which was huge and tasty. Already full from the appetizers, we were served our piatto principale. As for the Fettucini Strega my husband's quote best describes it "This is the best meal I ever had!" Our daughter had the Lobster Mac and Cheese which had large and many chunks of lobster and made for a second meal the next day. I had several bites of this and it was the best LM&C I have ever had. For my main dish I had the Strega Filet which was excellent. It had crab meat, portobello mushroom and peppercorn sauce. Overall it was an excellent dining experience. My friend and I were celebrating his birthday and it was the perfect place. The food, the lobster Mac and cheese to be specific was AMAZING! First time there and the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with soft lighting and for such a big restaurant it felt intimate. I tried their cocktail The Silviano, which was amazing and has a beautiful presentation. I ordered the Parpadelle Bolognese and it was so delicious and most amazing quality. I had the distinct impression from looking at the online menu (perhaps I was mistaken, but nonetheless) that the "Tortelloni Alla Panna" entree offered at their Hanover Street restaurant was also on the menu at Strega Waterfront. It is not. That was a disappointment. (Not by any means a deal breaker, but definitely a disappointment, because that dish is AMAZING...) We chose Strega Waterfront because it had plenty of parking nearby and it was an easy Uber ride to TD Garden. We brought my parents to dinner there before a concert and everything was delicious! One of the best if not the best places I’ve eaten at. I was skeptical of dining in Seaport for my birthday after my last experience at a different restaurant but Strega was amazing! The waiter was attentive and funny. Food was flavorful and large portions we couldn’t believe. Three friends had pasta entrees, rave reviews, two had steaks and I had the surf & turf special.
