I am amazed at the negative reviews. I have been going there for years, love my doctor, love having so many services in one building, seldom had to wait more than a few minutes.  All in all had very good experiences. The staff is pleasant and efficient. I am lucky to have them. More...

I have been going to Valley Medical for  years. Mostly good experiences, and they can meet many different needs. Not super nice about being a few minutes late, yet if you arrive on time, you will likely wait. The people are generally friendly and helpful. More...

These doctors have all been great, and that includes the Northampton doctors.  I have seen four of them over the past year, and each one has been empathetic and reasonable and communicative.  No complaints.  I like the centralized system.  I just met Dr. Feinland and thought he was great.  I got seen on a Sunday in Northampton without a previous appointment.  That was a miracle and I was so grateful. I never wait more than a few minutes, sometimes not even for a minute. Dr Dumont is my doctor, responsive and perceptive. Nobody gets much time with your doctor anymore, but my experience with her is that she will make sure you understand what's wrong and what to do . I'm very happy with the her and with the practice in general. More...

This review is for a routine colonoscopy that I recently had performed at the Valley Medical Center (VMC) Ambulatory Surgery and Procedures Center in Amherst. I don't normally write reviews for medical facilities, but this facility was so well run I had to write something. The preparation package that was provided to me a few weeks before the procedure was very comprehensive and easy to understand. The nurse who called me before the procedure was helpful and very professional.  She answered all of my many questions and helped me to better understand the process and procedure. When I arrived at the facility I was greeted by a small team of nurses who admitted me and set me up for the procedure.  They were helpful, explained what they were doing, and worked hard to put me at ease prior to, during, and after the procedure.  The were empathetic and 100% professional in every respect.Without going in to any details, I'll just say that the doctor was great and the actual procedure was much less traumatic than I had imagined it might be.In the end I found that 99% of the difficulty and stress of the colonoscopy procedure was the preparation process that you must go through starting two days before the procedure.  The actual procedure was a piece of cake, thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at this facility. One final word - the facility itself is totally modern, uses up to date equipment, and is spotless.  In my view it is clearly maintained to very high standards. Who actually likes going to the doctor's?  I can't say I'm a fan of going but I can say that I am incredibly grateful for where I go.  Valley Medical Group has some pretty amazing people who work there, from the people at the front desk, to the nurses, to the billing staff to the docs.  I probably see the best person in the entire practice, Rachael Katz, hands down!  She is knowledgeable, attentive, kind, thorough, on time, a great listener and easy to talk to.  On a whole, the office is well run, the staff interact well with each other and are supportive of one another.  Occasionally there are some glitches but problems are quickly addressed and not typically repeated.  There is one person there that I think would be a better shoe salesman than a medical provider but the staff has honored my request to never schedule me with him again.  Pros:  Appointments are easy to get          Reminders are sent when your annual exams are due          Referrals are never a problem when needed          Doctors work as a team which in turn benefits you          Physical Therapy, Counseling, X-ray all available in the same building          If you don't like one provider there are many more to choose from          Family practice - Infant - 100          Great patient portal - can email directly with your doctor         Cons:  Sometimes you can wait incredibly long times on the phone           Not always able to see your provider for sick visits More...

I HATE going to the doctors, but Valley Medical in Greenfield has been nothing but a lifesaver for me. Yeah, there are sometimes wait times, but my PA (Martha Mohr. ..go see her!!!!) is incredibly thorough and spends quality time with each patient as opposed to rushing through, particularly if there's a serious issue going on. I received some devastating news from an orthopedist in town, and Martha was able to spend time, calming me down, and reviewing objective FACTS, which this orthopedist did not do at all. The prognosis looks much better actually and I can breathe again. Martha said I can come see her whenever I need to because I have been so overwhelmed and need a strong advocate. I saw one of VMG's other providers before she left and I had a positive experience with her too. I'm also glad that VMG offers convenient pre and post work hours. I work 30 minutes away so those extra times help me minimize taking time off work. More...

I have no idea what Melissa is talking about. Dr Lopez is amazing and I know several other people that have her and she is highly recommended by all!  I was surprised by her personable attitude that so many younger doctors are laking these days (and I work in the medical field). She is always very thorough and friendly. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of the older curly hair blond woman in the blood lab. I have been there several times and she is ALWAYS late and ALWAYS b*tchy.  At 7am she took in a 9 year old at my appointment time and it took them 25 minutes just to draw blood because the kid was freaking out. Don't get me wrong... I feel the pain that kid is going thru, but it was my appointment time and I have to drop my kid off at daycare and go to work!!  Hence why I made a 7:15 appointment. I told her if it takes a while I'm going to leave... For the third time... More...

Excellent practice, although I cannot recommend Dr Joel Feinman. My husband went to see him about a urinary/prostate problem, and instead of receiving a supportive manner from Dr. Feinman, my husband received a lecture about marital infidelity. Dr. Feinman assumed, incorrectly, that my husband had contracted an STD. We feel that any other practitioner in the group is superb, especially Dr. Perry. More...
