The people and food are unmatched!! had 3 different items and every single one was top notch. the meat ball slider was moist and full of flavor. the jalepeno ravioli was the right amount of heat complimented perfectly with a slightly sweet sauce. the Italian beef was juicy and delicious! the only the better than the food was the owners! great people with amazing service! highly recommended! 5 stars More...

Abreo’s Paul Sletten and staff tries as hard as any I know to bring delight to the table with every plated dish. It succeeds so often that only the most determinedly grumpy souls could resist, but I’m guessing Covid took care of them by now. IT’S a common assumption that most ambitious restaurants improve with age, working out their kinks, controlling their jitters, tempering the vanity that breeds bad judgment. I’m speaking of really good food offered here in Rockford by hard working families without the benefit of corporate cash. At Abreo growing old, maturing, is causing it to flourish. This place not only has improved with age, it has expanded its mobility with food trucks and catering over the many years that always receives the same positive reviews. And now with easy access to announce to the world exactly how you enjoyed or gagged through a restaurant meal via FB posts complete with minutes old pictures or even Yelp reviews we somehow can tell are phony especially if they are whiners, pissers and moaners declaring the ice wasn’t cold enough, we all want to be cautious how we spend our money.
