Let me just start off with how amazing Leslie is! She's the owner and does an amazing job at eyelash extensions and eyebrow threading! I originally went in for eyelash extensions, but also got my eyebrows threaded too. I was kind of scared because I've never had my eyebrows done, and some of my friends say that threading hurts more. But when she threaded my eyebrows, it wasn't that bad at all! The pain wasn't anything that I couldn't handle.Eyelash extensions:I have always wanted to get eyelash extensions, and I'm glad I chose this place. It's perfect and super close to where I live. She makes you feel comfortable and tells you step by step what she's going to do and how the procedure works in great detail. I wasn't scared at all, just really excited. I'm in love with my eyelashes and wouldn't want anyone else to do my eyelashes or eyebrows. She's also very meticulous about her work and asks you for your opinion on how your lashes look and if one spot isn't perfect, she'll go back in and fix it. This place is AWESOME!I had been looking for a lash place for months and I stumbled across this place.  I was nervous so I went in to have a chat about the process and Leslie was SO sweet! She took precious time from her schedule to explain to me how it works and she was so kind and friendly.  Because I have sensitive skin that has allergic reactions sometimes, she recommended that I do tester lashes to make sure I didn't receive an allergic reaction to the glue. So she totally spent the time to give me tester lashes - AND they looked so pretty even though they were testers!  Then I went in for my full set of vegan lashes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! Leslie did my lash extensions while I was at school in LA and did such an amazing job! At my first appointment she took the time to discuss the process and figure out exactly what I wanted and I was so happy with the result! I absolutely loved having lashes and ended up not wearing eye makeup for almost my entire last semester at USC because I felt so good without it. Hands down best eyelash extension job I've ever had EVER! The studio is beautiful, clean, serene, and peaceful, the service was SO friendly and down to earth and the attention to detail left me feeling so confident. When I opened my eyes and saw my lashes I was absolutely ecstatic. They were full and followed the natural shape of my lashes, and felt comfortable, and looked just dramatic enough to make my eyes pop but not look too extreme. Seriously perfect. I've written one before but I'd like to update:Leslie is as always, AMAZING. I've been going to her for almost a solid 2 years now and have never missed a fill. My eyelashes are as strong as ever and I always get compliments on them!I've been warned to take breaks because people have had experiences where their lashes become weak and fragile from getting extensions, but this is not the case with me! Mine are perfectly healthy. I mean, I take really good care of them, and Leslie does too.The studio is clean, smells nice, and she plays lovely background music during the session. Got my lashes done as a birthday gift to myself. I made the appointment extremely last minute & Leslie was able to fit me in the next day :) I came in a little early, talked to Krystina, was able to show her reference pictures of what I wanted and she went through how the procedure would go, etc. the process took about 1.5-2 hours from the moment I walked in& left. I walked into the Studio today about 15 minutes before they closed. Leslie and Krystina were both at the front and greater me with warm smiles and  kindness. Even though they were about to close they all to happy to take me. Leslie did my eyebrow threading for me and it was the most painless experience I have ever had getting this service. I was amazed and they look incredible! Kristen did my li and she did an amazing job. Although she hasn't been doing it for very long and Leslie did do just a bit of clean up on it, she still did an amazing job. No pain and great results. If I was writing a review on just the experience that I had at Urban Butterfly I would give 5 stars! Kyrstina was so kind and explained everything to me, as this was my first eyelash extension experience.  I had purchased the Groupon for the half set and loved how my lashes looked when I left the salon.  I have extremely blonde lashes and with the eyelash extensions I did not have to wear any eye make up at all! My only complaint with the entire experience is the length of time they lasted.  I got my lashes on December 21st.  Each day I would lose around 2 lashed per eye.  Here I am, 3 weeks later and I literally only have ONE lash extension on my right eye.  I'd say that after one FULL week, I had to start wearing mascara again.  Maybe if I had gotten the full set I would not have had this problem.  With the Groupon, I definitely got a deal, but for the amount of money that it would cost without a Groupon, I would want them to last more than 2 weeks.  I was not hard on the lashes either.  I made sure to follow the instructions exactly.I would definitely recommend Urban Butterfly to my friends, with the caveat that eyelash extensions may not hold up all that long. Krystina is my go to gal when getting my lashes done! She does an excellent job every time and she is so friendly. I would call and make an appointment ahead of time and don't wait until last minute either. She does her best to fill you into appointment book, but miracles cannot be done in 5minutes. I was going on a 6-week long trip and wanted to go without eye makeup. I had never tried lashes before. I was SO happy with everything. She was pleasant, cheerful, and professional. She applied them perfectly, and gave me exactly what I asked for--natural looking lashes. And she customized the look to match my natural lash curl by using mostly B lashes and placing some C lashes. I was referred to Leslie for eyelash extensions. My eyelashes were thinner than I'd like them to be. I was really surprised to see how natural they looked and felt. To me...I couldn't even tell they were there...Until...I look in the mirror to see how pretty they are. I decided to treat myself to eye lash extensions for my birthday. I called the night before my birthday and luckily she had a time available. I told her I wanted them to look natural and not fake. Leslie is so knowledgeable and walked me through it. She made me feel completely comfortable and is easy to talk to. It took about 1.5 hours to put on a new set, but the time went by so quickly. I continue to receive compliments and they are so natural that people can't figure out exactly what is different about me. I love them. I get out of bed and I don't have to put make up on. Came here this morning with a groupon for eyelash extensions. Her station at the back of the salon was beautiful. She gave me some water, put on relaxing music and covered me with a nice warm blanket. She was also so accommodating to change my appointment time to an earlier time due to another appointment I could not change. She did my lashes so expertly, took her time and did an amazing job. Prices normally without a groupon are quite expensive ($150+) but I can see why people do it. My appointment was 1 1/2 hr long and it could have been longer if I didn't have another appointment I was late for. I think if I was able to stay it could have turned out even better (maybe a little thicker?) I feel like I rushed her but it still came out great. I only noticed two that started to droop down more than the others on my left eye but everything else was perfect. I think I would have like a little more drama to it but like I said, I rushed her so I wasn't able to get her full service. Thanks Leslie! Leslie is the most charming girl you will ever meet! I have had such good experiences with her. I was skeptical about getting eyelashes again because the previous woman did them incorrectly and almost all my eyelashes fell out! But by peer pressure, I decided to give it another shot. I am so glad I found Leslie because she does such a fabulous job and I have seen her 5 times so far and I still have my normal lashes!! Found Leslie through Groupon and I'm so glad I did!  I wanted my eyelashes done for an upcoming trip and was in a bind when my original lash lady I made an appointment with had to cancel our apt at the last minute!  With my trip being just a few days away I called Leslie with Urban Butterfly to see if she possibly had any openings and she did!  She was quick to respond (texting her works better as she doesn't always get service in the salon) and fit me into her schedule for the very following morning!  Getting to Reflection Beauty Spa was a bit of a challenge (the address is super simple but for some reason if you go through the yelp maps it takes you somewhere completely different) but Leslie was super understanding even though I was a half hour late due to getting lost and was able to move her other appointments back so that it didn't cut into our time.Getting the lashes done was so painless, she puts relaxing music on and chats with you and even encourages you to nap during the two hour session (which inevitably I did).  She asked me what style look I was going for and I let her be the best judge of picking out lash length and curl and to work her magic.  The results were amazing!  I haven't gotten my lashes done in over 6 years so the advancements in the lash extension department have really come a long way, Leslie was telling me all about the conventions and all the different lash options out there now and WOW! Leslie is wonderful!!! I made an appointment with Lashes by Emiko another lash place located in Pasadena. Turns out she overbooked me and she cancelled my appointment the day before my Birthday trip to Las Vegas. I waited 3 weeks for that appointment. (Horrible) It was late when I called Urban Butterfly Lash, I advised Leslie of my problem. Being very understanding she asked me to come over and she gave me a full set.They looked awesome! Just what I wanted and needed for Vegas.The great thing about her lashes they lasted almost 4 weeks and still looked good. I went in for my fill and she came thru for me again.
