It is difficult to put into words how much Dan has positively impacted my life. After speaking with several nutritionists, he listened to my emotional breakdowns about food , emailed me after hours to answer my random late-night questions, and was a consistent rock of information in my life (and still is). He knew how to speak to me in a language that I could understand and appreciate while backing it up with current, scientific studies that I needed to hear. My understanding of how nutrition fits into my life has greatly increased, as well as my physical and emotional health. Among all of these things, he was accommodating logistically, responsive, and malleable to meet my needs with scheduling and other sometimes annoying processes; he navigated these with ease. I can 100% say that not going to him would have been a great disservice to myself and he has my utmost respect and highest recommendation, always.

I have seen many other nutritionists, but none have been as hands-on as I was wanting until I found Dan. I went from constantly worrying about my body size, my weight, and what or how much I was eating to feeling calm and peaceful and enjoying a positive, happy relationship with food. Dan is very positive and encouraging. He helped me to make long-term changes, including establishing regular exercise routines, increasing my awareness of my body’s needs and signals, and making time for healthy eating a priority. When I signed up for your February of 2020, I had no idea what to expect. After a year of relentless stress from work and family especially with Covid, my semi-healthy eating habits had spiraled out of control. My reward for surviving each day was either chocolate covered graham crackers, sushi, wine or all of them. I could never have expected the amount of information, support, forgiveness, and encouragement I was about to receive! I cannot express to you how much Dan’s positive attitude and valuable tools changed my relationship with food. Dan showed me that food IS a reward! It's a reward that has lasting effects not just on your body, but your mood, your energy level, even the way you sleep! After about a week of eating real food, balancing my carbs, protein, and fat, the light went off in my head. As a teacher myself, I know the only real way to learn anything is to teach someone else to the point where they are self-sufficient, self-motivated, and prepared to overcome obstacles. I now MAKE time to grocery shop several times a week, cook my own meals using lots of recipes and ideas that Dan gave me , and use food to fuel my life, no matter what stresses come my way. I have lost about 65 pounds and it has 100% changed the way I look food and myself. My body will never be a size 2, but I am currently on vacation wearing a bikini and I cannot tell you how good I feel in my own skin. I cannot thank Dan enough for sharing such invaluable information in a way that was so approachable, realistic, and encouraging. Dan is so much more than a nutritionist.  From initial inquiry, to service, to end of service, Dan is with you every step of the way.   When I originally reached out to him about his services, he immediately responded to me with meaningful optimism and accessible information, which made me feel confident about working with him.  His enthusiasm for fitness, strong knowledge base, and endless encouragement gave me the tools for continued success.  
 
I had tried a number of other nutrition solutions previously, but found that the 1:1 experience and tailor-made process finally allowed me to meet my goals.  Dan has a natural talent of being able to listen to you, understand your lifestyle and meal preferences, and provide you with the tools you need for a healthy lifestyle change.  He has seemingly limitless patience and encouragement.  When we first got started, I found there were a few elements that needed to be tweaked and he immediately helped shift the guidelines so that things would work best for me.

To say Dan changed my life would be an understatement. When I first started working with Dan, I was severely underrating, yet still losing weight. I had vitamin B12 deficiencies and was beginning to have some neurological symptoms from it. After working with Dan for a few weeks, eating the right way, I immediately notified a difference- a good one!
I have had the please of doing 3 months of a constant contact program, and 3 months of a more hands off program. I have learned so much from these programs. I am in the best shape of my life, I love what I see in the mirror, and I feel SO GOOD! Plus I have a healthy relationship with food now which is more than I could ask for! I am so thankful for Dan and for all of his programs! It is well worth the investment and I would choose to do it all over again if I had to!!

I STARTED TO THINK I WOULD NEVER LOSE THIS WEIGHT AND THAT I SHOULD JUST ACCEPT THIS NEW, YET UNRECOGNIZABLE BODY.

I became frustrated and depressed, in addition to my body fatiguing much more easily than before. One night, a friend of mine told me to check online for a nutritionist and I did. I found Dan through Bark and I could not be happier. He was the top rated Nutritionist on Bark and After working with him I see why. After the first consultation with Dan over the phone, I already felt so much better that someone understood what I was going through and that weight loss did not have to be impossible, even with a thyroid condition.

Long story made short, in a few months I have lost 30 pounds (and counting!), learned how to eat right, have more energy and sleep better at night. I feel like my old self again.

Additionally to the weight loss, my thyroid numbers have miraculously fallen back into a "normal" person's range (which I think is possibly just as incredible), all based on diet alone. Dan has become not only my Nutritionist, but my friend. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone else out there that is close to "giving up" or just "accepting" their body although they want to be healthier and make a positive lifestyle change. He helped me get my confidence and health back, and for that I am forever grateful to him.

I had the pleasure of working with Dan the last few months when I contacted him for nutrition and weight loss counseling. Throughout my lifetime, I have tried many different ways to lose weight and have always failed . With Dan’s program I learned how to understand the food I eat and how my body works with this food. Dan did not restrict my eating habits but showed me how to read labels and introduce healthier things into my diet. Dan taught me which foods encourage a healthier lifestyle and healthier living. Dan also showed me how to increase my exercise so that my body would work more efficiently towards my goal. Let me tell you, working with Dan has been AWESOME!! I honestly feel like a brand new person! Before starting with Dan, I lost all motivation to eat healthy and take care of myself and my mental health. I gained so much weight, was drinking so much daily, and not happy overall. I truly didn’t feel like myself anymore. Now I feel like myself again, and even BETTER than before! I have lost weight and inches, I am getting stronger lifting in the gym, my clothes are fitting me again and getting looser!! AND I am eating so much, I love it. I am more confident in the gym, less bloated, I can control my cravings and I get excited to weigh in everyday and check in every week to see my progress. I have been working with Dan for about 2 years now and not only has he helped me change my life but he turned me into the cook I never thought I could be! I have lost 100 lbs now - feeling better than ever - and introducing meal prep into my life was a huge part of it. I am a completely new person mentally, physically and emotionally and I owe it all to Dan and the dedication he puts into his clients. I truly believe I wouldn't be where I am without him and his unconditional support!

I learned that there are always going to be obstacles in life and it’s how you react to them that sets you apart. I really loved all the amazing recipes. They were really amazing and easy! I also learned that some of the things I love and have been told to give up really aren’t that terrible in comparison to the alternative "better" options (i.e. my creamer). I really don’t use that much to have to make a change to a better one. The biggest change I made was starting to try new foods that I never knew about. I absolutely think this approach to eating is sustainable for the long term.

I wish there was a way to give more stars. Dan is a freakin rockstar, he changed my life. He is there for you every step of the way and fine tuned his program for whatever your diet. I am vegan and he had no problem finding recipes that fit my plan and was very knowledgeable about all proteins and vitamins I’ll need. I lost about 50 pounds with him, went from 205 to 155. As a single adult male in my 20’s, this changed my confidence levels, mental health and physical health. 6/5 stars for me, if you’re at all questioning whether to use Dan, please use this as a reason to hop on board. I started to notice a change in my body when I was prescribed a medication from my doctor. The major side effect was weight gain. I had gained about 35 pounds over the course of two years in college. I realized that I needed to make a change the night of my best friend’s birthday. I had my favorite little black dress picked out. When I put it on, I could only zip it half way up. I became very upset with my appearance and did not go to her birthday party. That was my wake up call. I am young and was not awfully over weight, but I drew the line when I couldn’t wear my clothes anymore.

I found Dan at the top of Bark and I was impressed when I viewed his website and read all of his testimonials. Dan has provided me with so much knowledge about nutrition. I felt motivated to lose weight the healthy way. I am a full time college student and I can’t find the time to work out regularly; I needed to change the way I ate to start losing weight, incorporate light exercise and to live a healthier lifestyle.

Dan’s approach to the science of weight loss was so simple. I found it very easy to follow his eating guidelines. I immediately saw changes in my appetite and appearance. I looked forward to my weekly check in emails as Dan has always worked to provide simple and applicable strategies to help set my week up for success.

I have lost a healthy 30 pounds in just over three months and am still on track for becoming even more fit. I tried on my little black dress that wouldn’t zip up a few months ago. Now it fits. It is a great feeling to know that I accomplished a seemingly impossible goal with such simplicity.

Lastly, I cannot thank Dan enough for helping me get over this obstacle. I brag about his eating tips to my friends and family; “I’m not on a diet. I’m on a lifestyle change!” I feel like I have the secret weapons to weight loss.

The quick diets and fads on the internet are ineffective. They could have been posted by any unreliable source. Bottom line: they don’t work. I found that Dan’s program does work. It was well worth paying for his help. The cost is much less than what I would have had to spend buying all new clothes because I could no longer fit into mine. The program is affordable and absolutely worth it. I strongly suggest you send a message to Dan through Bark to get his attention as he is very busy , but to those who have any sort of a nutrition or diet issue Dan is and should be your first go-to!

So years of consuming anything and everything with reckless abandon finally caught up with me when I received a stern phone call from my doctor. My A1C (blood sugar) level was on the borderline of Type 2 diabetes. My doctor asked, ” do you really want to inject insulin?” She then recommended a nutritionist, Dan Fudim. Her patients had achieved great results working with Dan . I immediately emailed and made an appointment with Dan.

Working with Dan has changed my life for the better. In 3 months, I was able to bring my blood sugar down to normal and I lost 34 pounds as an unexpected bonus. I had never given a second thought to what I ate in my entire life, weight was never an issue. Working with Dan didn’t seem like I was on a diet, it was more like getting an education about food and life choices. I feel so empowered after working with Dan. I always think of the lessons learned from Dan before I make a decision for every meal, snack or drink. I have tremendous respect and adoration for Dan. I look and feel better plus no insulin.

Dan is one of a kind. I've struggled with weight and body image for my entire life, losing weight and gaining it back, exercising sporadically, making poor food choices and looking for a 'quick fix. ' Working with Dan was life changing. His approach is practical, easy to do, safe and effective! In the beginning of my journey with Dan, the changes I made to my eating were very subtle, so they became habit. While I wanted faster results, I was patient as I trusted Dan 100%. Through my weekly check-in’s and the mid week support emails when needed, I learned how to be less hard on myself. And through it all, Dan was there - checking in via email, answering questions, giving suggestions on food, exercise and being my biggest cheerleader. He’s truly the best!

I would always focus on losing weight, lose it but then gain it back in a month or so and it was a cycle that I couldn’t seem to break! Dan educated and walked me step by step to develop the right kind of relationship with my food, exercise and most importantly with myself. I felt he always knew what to do and all I had to do was listen and follow his guidance that was completely tailored to my lifestyle. I am forever grateful for all that he helped me with - not only to having a loving and confident relationship with my body again but to truly understand what exercises I should be doing and what kind of food I should be eating! I started working with Dan after deciding it was time to do something about my diet. My 2021 New Year's Resolution to lose weight and eat better was quickly squashed once quarantine began - I lost all motivation and wasn't working out or eating right, it was too easy to fall back into my old ways while being at home all day. Dan has been coaching me for just two months now and I've already lost over 12 lbs! The proof is in the numbers - our weekly check- ins have given me a new sense of motivation and accountability. I worked with Dan for 4 months to get ready for my wedding. I was particularly nervous about the photos as our wedding was featured in the New York Times Wedding Section and I wanted to look my best, especially as an older bride. During that time, I was also recovering from a surgery and was very limited in working out, which made my nutrition even more important. Dan's services were amazing. He was highly motivational, and very knowledgeable about which foods to eat to help you lose weight. He also researched to help me find food at local restaurants that fit into my plan. Finally, he was always extremely encouraging and available whenever I needed him even outside out our weekly check-ins. I got many compliments on how I looked at my wedding, which was due in part to Dan's coaching. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to lose weight long-term or short-term.

In my twenties I was truly blessed and never really had to worry about my weight. Unfortunately, when I got older I found it became harder and harder to lose the weight. I tried everything from intermittent fasting, Atkins, Weight Watchers, etc. I would lose ten pounds then gain it back. 


My friend told me about her nutrition coach from Bark (Dan) and I quickly signed up - he is an amazing coach! he's very knowledgeable about nutrition and will help you reach your goal. I've texted him doing the week when I was unsure of what to eat when I went out to dinner. He will provide several meal options and snack options.  He’s understanding when there are days that you don't meet your goals, but he helps you figure out your triggers so you can make better decisions the following week. He encourages you, but will still let you know what isn't working so you can reach your weight loss goal. 

The best part of working with him is he puts you on a realistic plan!! A lot of times we join these programs where you lose the weight quickly but gain it back because your coach hasn't given you the tools you need to succeed for life! That's the key. Learning how to incorporate the foods you love in your daily routine so you can be at your dream weight and stay there not for one month, two months but forever!! I've lost 47 lbs in 4 months and feel so blessed to have met him ! I'm looking forward to getting back to the size I was in college even post wedding!

WE’VE HEARD SO OFTEN THAT ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS YOU CAN MAKE IS IN YOUR HEALTH.

After putting on weight , I’ve developed some bad eating habits.   Nothing worked – until I reached out to Dan and hired him to be my nutritionist .And I learned immediately that the statement is true – working with Dan was one of the smartest and best investments I’ve ever made.  Dan is patient, caring and knowledgeable.  He customizes each suggestion specifically for you.  His program is not a magic wand – it’s a lifestyle change but a change for the better.  I’ve never felt more energized and happy in a long time – I’ve lost weight (and I have kept it off) and changed many bad habits. 

For a few years I have been having trouble finding the right healthy foods to eat. I saw my body changing from what once was a sexy 21 year old body to a not-so-sexy 29 year old body. It has only been a weeks and I am already losing weight . For years I have tried everything and nothing seems to work at all, however I took a leap of faith and decided to work with Dan and I will say it has been the best decision I have ever made my entire life.

Dan works hard to provide the support , system , and accountability that I needed in order to be successful but also work towards building habits that I can sustain for the rest of my life .

I do not have to cut out my favorite foods or go on a super restrictive and unsustainable plan, I simply focus on moderation and everything can fit into my plan .

Dan has helped me to realize that consistency beats perfection and I am so happy to report that as of now 4 weeks into his program, I am down 14 lbs and I finally feel like myself again. I highly recommend him to any and everyone!

After having my baby a almost a year ago, I was a stranger in my own body for a while. I was so consumed with being mom that I forgot pieces of me that still existed under the surface - being active, dancing, and giving time to myself. My body was totally different, my self esteem was lacking, and I spiraled into feeling bad for myself. After lots of thought I finally reached out to Dan and I have ZERO regrets! He is always there to motivate me, give me solid advice, and build my confidence. 4 months down in his customized program and I am leaner, stronger, and way more confident. When I first came to Dan, I was at the heaviest I had ever been. I maintained my weight that fluctuated between 232 and 246 pounds, for over 3 years after my son’s birth. I had tried many different diets that just didn’t work for me and were never long lasting. I was at a complete loss and I knew I was desperate for help. I couldn’t find the will or motivation to get started. Prior to working with Dan, I was diagnosed with obesity. Wow, seeing “Obese” on my medical record was a HUGE wake up call. I cried for weeks and couldn’t go back to the doctor that labeled me as obese. I was devastated.

A simple 30 minute park session with my son put me down for hours and in worse cases it put me down in to the next day. My knees and back would ache because I picked him up and played with him. I would be winded not even 5 minutes in to play and would have to stop and just walk around a bit while watching him play. I would constantly push myself just to be able to play with my kid. I was out of breath walking in to a store with a large parking lot. I was out of breath just doing household chores. 
When I met Dan, I had a lot of misinformation about weight loss. I thought I needed to change every part of my life and live uncomfortably to be able to lose more than 10 pounds. I thought I had to drink fruit infused water, while completing a 21 day cleanse and only eating vegetables because fruit had too much sugar. Dan taught me how to live a comfortable life, set boundaries with my eating, keep active, gain muscle and lose weight. This all happened while I was still drinking Starbucks (full sugar) twice a week, eating out once a week, and not restricting my coffee intake. I used the tools that Dan provided me with and it forever changed my life. I am able to go out to eat with my friends and family and not feel uncomfortable with my food choices. I have the ability to go to a family gathering and know that it is okay to bring my own salad or any food I prefer to eat. I have the ability to enjoy my “happy meals” without guilt and be able to stop when I am 80% full. 


Hiring Dan as my Nutrition Coach has been the by far the absolute BEST thing I have done to better myself. Dan has been the most amazing person to work with and gave me my life back. I will forever be grateful for Dan. What I loved most about working with him is that he made this MY journey. He did not lump me in to a group of other women and men. Since I have started working with Dan I have lost 40 pounds! I’m your typical busy, nyc mom of two, balancing work, kids and life; trying to do it all, except taking care of myself. I barely cooked, I was addicted to sugar, I ate way too late, I hated having to decide what was for dinner every night. I was tired of food, didn’t even have a favorite anymore. I needed help! Working with Dan has been such a pleasure. i have worked with several nutritionists in the past but this has honestly been the best experience ever!

After a recent divorce I gained quite a bit of weight , was very unhappy with how I felt in my clothing and did not have a very healthy relationship with food. Often I would restrict my calories and derive myself of my favorite foods which is not a sustainable approach .

Dan has completely changed my life. Before working with him, I had no idea how to form a healthy relationship with food. Growing up in a household that only promoted unhealthy eating habits, I felt like I would never become comfortable with myself or my body. I have been overweight for the majority of my life, and during the pandemic, things only worsened. I remember looking at myself in the mirror and deciding that I needed to make a change, which is what led me to Dan.

Working with Dan has literally been life changing. I have so much more energy, I sleep better and have lost weight! He is a great teacher giving clear explanations for his recommendations and breaking down his suggested changes into manageable and realistic chunks. I can whole heartedly recommend Dan as a professional with a huge amount of knowledge but also a huge amount of practicality and understanding.


I've struggled with unhealthy eating habits and an unhealthy relationship with food for my entire life, but after about two months with Dan I feel like I've taken control of my eating (and my life) in a brand new way. He worked wonders at helping turn a clear eye on my unhealthy ideas about nutrition -- restricting, extreme calorie counting, binge eating -- and even some less toxic ideas like intermittent fasting that I was using as an excuse to treat myself poorly. Having understood my particular quirks, we worked together to create a system of eating (not a rigid meal 'plan' that is so easy to break and then fall off the wagon entirely) that has me looking forward to each mealtime in a way that I truly can't remember. My weight is under control, and more importantly my self-image is better than ever. I'm so much more equipped to listen to my body and feed it according to its needs. I heard about Dan through a close friend of mine, who raved about him. Finishing school and taking a job that involved a lot of stress and time sitting at a desk took a toll on my diet and I gained some weight over a couple of years. I was also drinking an inordinate amount of Diet Coke (six cans day, maybe more, I’m embarrassed to say). I got to a point when I felt like I needed the help of a professional to come up with reasonable strategies to get my eating habits and diet coke addiction under control. Enter Dan! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Dan’s warmth, intelligence, and reasonable approach immediately endeared me to him. The plan he created for me was totally do-able and left me satiated all the time and looking forward to meal times! Never once did I feel like I was on a “diet.” Probably because I wasn’t and will never be again. In the past ,I have literally tried every single diet out there and have had the same result... I end up gaining all the weight back and more after I have worked so hard to try to lose it . 12 months ago I was caught in a never-ending cycle of bingeing and restricting, and I had a terrible relationship with my body. I had lived this way for years, and I 100% believed that recovery was not possible for me. My therapist kept encouraging me to meet with a nutritionist, but honestly, I was terrified. I didn’t want to be put on a diet plan. I didn’t want to be told I needed to gain or lose weight. I didn’t want someone to know what I did or did not let myself eat. But I did know that I couldn’t live that life anymore. Something needed to change. So, I got the guts to reach out for help and I stumbled on Dan’s profile at Bark . I can honestly say that is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Dan introduced me to intuitive eating and it changed my life. I must say I was very reluctant in contacting a Nutritionist at first, being in the health field I thought I knew everything I needed to know about loosing the weight, I just need to focus, eat lots of salads, limited carbs, little sugars, and lots of exercise! Simple! Boy was I wrong! I was schooled by Dan!  I can say hiring Dan was and it still is one of the best decisions I had made in my life!


I was “stumped” to learn that he uses a “ non-diet” approach, and introduced me to the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating where nothing is actually off limits, but instead all about moderation.

He definitely helped me into working towards a greater body acceptance and to have a healthy relationship with food, he allowed me to take challenges at my own pace and to get out of my comfort zone under his guidance.


Today I can say I am more conscious about what I eat and drink, not depriving myself of the foods I enjoyed eating, especially napoleons, tres leches, tapas, arepas, “patty like croquettes” rice, beans, and all the delicious Cuban foods that I love.


I ‘am very happy to report that my weight has been decreasing slowly but steadily, having lost approximately 50 pounds in a few months.


Well, leaving the best for last,  let me tell you about my Nutritionist, he is an amazing professional, super skilled in his profession, he is very supportive, down to earth, has the patience of an angel, very warm, empathetic, creative, compassionate, inspiring, excellent listening skills. Truth be told hiring Dan was the best investment I have ever made for myself, and hiring him will be the best investment you can make in yourself as well!

Working with Dan was amazing! He provided a constant source of support, positivity, and even some tough love when I needed it. As someone who has always been health and fitness minded, I came to Dan when I needed accountability and guidance with my nutrition and he was there for me every day.

Surprisingly, I learned more about myself outside of traditional fitness focused goals during this journey with Dan. I kind of already had all of the "tools" and knew a lot about health. I "knew what I should be doing" but what I couldn't figure out is why I always had trouble sticking to my goals and routines. Dan helped me to realize that my struggles really came from stress and not being mindful in my day to day life. I've taken this very seriously and he has helped me to focus on becoming more in tune with the mental aspect of health and wellness which in turn has helped me to make my "goals" into a lifestyle.

When we uncovered that the root of my struggles really came from stress, he provided me with all kinds of ways to face my stressors head on and make it more manageable- for example he recommended different journaling techniques, meditation apps, calendar and organizational techniques, podcasts and book resources and more-none of which actually had to do with fitness, but he knew that once I had the tools to manage stress, I could become more successful in my health and fitness journey.


I would highly recommend working with Dan if you are willing to commit yourself with an open mind. If you care enough about your health and wellness, working with someone who is so passionate about wellness like Dan is a no-brainer. He puts in the work to learn and practice a healthy lifestyle so that he can share it with others. 

I wanted to let you know that after our few months of working together, I've never felt more clear and level headed about health and fitness. I realized that I have been over complicating things for a really long time. I'm trying to listen to my body and remember that it doesn't all need to be so hard. And it doesn't all need to be about food. I love working out and eating healthy and I love having fun too. It doesn't need to be all or nothing and listening to my body feels good. Learning to be more mindful is paying off in a big way, and now that I'm back and will be in a routine again I hope to continue this part of my journey! Working with Dan has been a life changing experience. Originally, I sought help to end the constant struggle of yo yo dieting, poor body image, and to lose weight. By focusing on my relationship with food and myself first, then making tweaks in my diet, I have now found a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. Moreover, my self confidence and positive body image have never been this high. 


Food was controlling me, and no matter how hard I tried, I was unable to gain the upper hand. Dan taught me how to become more mindful with my eating and helped me develop a healthier relationship to food. He is genuine, caring and supportive and works one on one with his clients to develop individual plans. His recommendations were simple to implement and have already produced a remarkable positive impact. Life is a roller coaster… or at least mine has been.  Since the age of 12 I’ve been on the up and down roller coaster ride of gaining and losing weight.  The last time I vividly remember someone talking about how skinny I was, I was 11 years old playing outside with some friends at the lake and someone told my mom that I was so long and skinny. I’ve done every diet that has ever existed, tried every fad workout (let’s not get into Crossfit), tried every oil, pill, meditation, and have had over 5 different Nutritionists in my life but nothing has ever compared to what Dan does. I lost 80 pounds and I had finally worn a dress that was a size 6.  I hadn’t been a size 6 since I was 11 years old.

When I met Dan I was 210 pounds, I could barely get up in the morning and I was moody and irritable. Within 2 weeks I had dropped 15 pounds, I had the same energy I had in my early twenties and my moodiness had almost disappeared. Six months on, I have lost 70 pounds and feel amazing. Dan was able to do something that no one has done in years: MOTIVATE ME!  After a very thorough  consultation, Dan initiated a healthy eating program for me unlike anything I have ever tried. Working with Dan, I have lost enough weight to where I had to go shopping for smaller jeans -  I bought my first size 12 (down from a size 16) in over a decade!   Since I have type 2 diabetes, one of our main goals was to reduce my Hemoglobin A1C [a marker of long-term blood sugar control] – and Dan succeeded in a spectacular fashion. My endocrinologist is thrilled with my latest blood work results. 

Throughout  the entire process, Dan has always been at my side. He is always available when I get down on myself, and provides positive feedback and encouraging reminders that help me feel better.  In fact, when I cheat, I can hear him in my head, compassionately telling me to get back on track instead of focusing on a ‘mistake.’

This was by far the best decision I have ever made and I cannot even begin to describe the value of what Dan has to offer as he is literally there for you pretty much 24/7 . In the past I have literally tried every diet out there from Keto, Paleo, Weightwatchers, whole30, etc and have failed miserably . This is the first time in my entire life I do not feel like it is a diet but rather a lifestyle change and with Dan’s help I have lost over 40 pounds! I decided to go to Dan as I really wanted to tone up and lose body fat. My diet wasn't good, I loved my food and my carbs and didn't see any alternative to this. I occasionally went to the gym but I lacked consistency, and when I did go, I didn't know what to do half the time.


As soon as I started with Dan he helped to create a plan specific to me, and to my surprise the plan was full of variety. I did not have to eliminate any of my favorite foods and Dan was always so helpful when it came to food, offering lots of advice and suggesting plenty of alternatives to certain foods. He really knows his stuff when it comes to nutrition.

I learnt a lot about food during my time with Dan ; what foods I should be eating, what foods I should avoid, the right time for carbs etc. I came to really enjoy the diet and I feel all the better for it now. More importantly I did not feel restricted and he helped to even include my favorite foods .
 
With Dan’s help I was able to see results within the first few weeks. In total I've dropped 15% body fat, 10 inches and lost 25 lbs. I'm down a dress size and I'm fitting into clothes that wouldn't go near me a few months ago. I feel stronger, fitter and more toned and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Working with Dan is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was overweight and generally unhappy which led me to seek out a nutritionist for help with losing weight. Seeing Dan has changed my life in a way I never thought possible . My 15-year habit of crash dieting and the weight gain/loss yo-yos that came along with it.   I had spent the last year working out consistently without any meaningful results and was growing increasingly frustrated.  Since working with Dan, I have consistently lost weight every week, with my total weight loss over the last three months at 25 lbs.  The most amazing part is that I don't feel like I am on a "diet" -- I am just learning how to eat in a healthy and balanced way, with Dan as a supportive coach along the way.  From suggestions that never would have occurred to me to the reminders of what I know I should be doing, I couldn't have achieved these results without him.  Empowered by Dan's coaching and guidance, I am on a consistent, healthy, and manageable road to not just weight loss, but also healthy living.

Dan is one of a kind. I've struggled with weight and body image for my entire life, losing weight and gaining it back, exercising sporadically, making poor food choices and looking for a 'quick fix. I can’t overstate how fortunate I am to have found Dan as my nutritionist. As an experienced dieter, I knew what needed to be done, yet lacked the motivation to carry through on necessary steps. When I hired Dan, he took a thorough intake interview, and then laid out a simple but nutritionally sound plan, including regular contact by phone daily. The accountability was key to my success. He was able to convince me not to get discouraged when I felt like quitting. He is not a fan of the quick weight loss schemes, but instead focuses on changing eating habits (including pretzels-lol!), and he does this in such a kind and gentle way, backed by science. He has an advanced degree in nutrition, so he can speak with authority on the subject, unlike so many who dabble in the subject. When I received an incidental lab result for an A1C (a blood marker for diabetes) that was borderline high, Dan tweaked my plan to treat it nutritionally so it would not progress, and it worked! It turns out that Dan has a particular interest in nutritional approaches to prediabetes/diabetes. Bonus for me! He stated early on that his goal was for me to be able to manage my eating plan independently over time, and I reached this goal about two months ago. Before I met Dan I did not know the components of a balanced diet and the best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. After several months of working closely with Dan, I can say with complete confidence that I am a different person, improved for the better because of his incredible knowledge, supportive approach and warm demeanor. When I was 42 I decided it was time to try (yet again) to lose weight. I've been a lot of sizes in my life- from 2 to 16, and every size in between. Over the last few decades I've tried, with varying levels of success, to lose fat and look like someone who actually worked out.

I've done NutriSystem, Weight Watchers, and MediFast. I've tried Zumba and kickboxing and P90X. I even convinced several of my girlfriends to train to walk a marathon in an attempt to lose weight.
     

Now, I'd lost 40 lbs before (more than once) but this time was different. It looked and felt like way more than 40 pounds. My body radically changed, dropping from a size 12 to a size 2! That's 5 sizes! I'd never lost 5 sizes before. I had shape and definition in all kinds of places.  People didn't recognize me!

I used to struggle to have control over my eating habits. I felt like I was a slave to food. I knew I needed someone to help me learn to make better choices. I knew that what worked best was when someone was checking up on me and reviewing what I ate. I also liked that Dan helped me focus on changes that were small and incremental which means that they were doable.


I now feel that I am in control of my food choices. I know what I need to eat and when to sustain myself and keep my body fuelled and not become too hungry which leads to make poor choices.

Since working with Dan I have lost over 75 pounds but I can’t even explain how life changing it has been for me. Dan is the most positive and motivating person.
