I took my family of 9 here today for the Easter Buffet/Brunch and we were disappointed. I think they over booked, we waited over 1/2 hr for our reservation. Then they ended up pulling a table together for us. Had to ask for service, for napkins, silverware, no one still came over to take our drink order, had to ask someone for that. Then we still didn't get drinks until we asked again and I still never received the Mimosa that I ordered, we had to ask for water, the set up of the food was not good either, so crowded with all the people waiting to be seated and you had to walk through them. We were disappointed with the food after hearing what a good restaurant it was from others, I was embarrassed after telling my family that it would be really good. The best thing was the salad, fruit and bread. French toast was mush, the pork they had was cold. For what we paid per person wasn't worth it. Then when I paid, I received someone else's credit card back and had to get up to see where mine was. Maybe we will try dinner there one night but we were just forgotten by the lady who was waiting on us. Others received way better service so must have been friends of the owner. Since moving back to my home town, my husband and I have made brunch at Union Town Provisions a must almost monthly. He gets the stuffed French toast with seasonal fruit every time we’re there. I’ve had several different dishes on the menu and they’re always fantastic! The service is GREAT! Today was a busy morning at UTP but the service was wonderful, as always. As a Lorain native, I’m more than happy to wait a little bit longer than usual if that means the business is booming! 10/10! Five stars! Love! Hope to be having brunch dates here for many years! I wanted to have a good experience here but I just didn’t. First and foremost, our waitress needs to know that it’s not okay to touch anybody without their permission, especially a baby. Especially during a pandemic. We were her only table at the time and she somehow managed to put in the wrong food order for my son and took an excessive amount of time to bring our check over. This place has amazing servers that are dedicated to accompany you throughout the night. The entrees were amazing I ordered the pesto chicken and it was mouth watering this place is definitely worth checking out the drinks are also amazing had a Mongo Mai Tai and it was simply the best. I also enjoyed getting to see Master Tc and the Visitors preform live one of the best bands who I have ever seen in Lorain. This food. Oh my gosh! The stuffed Portobello Sandwich was unexpected and sooo good! The stuffing was squash, potato, onion, kale. .. provolone is available. Herbed aioli was amazing.
