Probably the best meal overall I've had dining out in Pensacola. The Korean chicken wings were amazing- crispy but not dry, and that sauce was simply one of the best things I've had in awhile. Pork shank, massive and full of flavor. Chicken & waffles a little on the sweeter side but the sweet/spicy/savory blended together nicely. Extremely disappointed. I have been looking forward to eating here for months and was devastated to have such a miserable experience. The server was not attentive and getting a drink refill was near impossible. They never picked up that our food was barely touched. Pork rinds were salty and tasted straight from a bag. Hushpuppies were undercooked and soggy. Mussels had red peppers which is a random food allergy of my husband that wasn't mentioned in the ingredients. The solution the server gave was a box and maybe someone else would eat it. The pork butt was good what was edible. 75% was fat. This is probably the first time I didn't even give dessert a chance. Service was subpar. Our waitress was very combative and argumentative abt the food when we kindly and simply said it just wasn’t what we were expecting. I sent my food back and said I would just split my meal with my date. His food was pretty bland and we asked for the check. Not once did a manager come by to see why we didn’t eat any of our entrees. Oh, and conveniently no one could make change less than a large bill. Really had my hopes up abt this place. Would have maybe given it a second chance if it wasn’t for the waitress. More...
