What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I'd start with the background information. I'd want to know about the company's pulse - the values you wish to instill. I'll also inquire about the websites you enjoy and those you dislike, as well as why. What is it about their approach that works for you? Who does it wrong, and what is it about their approach that doesn't work for you? I'm curious about the brands that have a website that "feels right" - either from a UX or design perspective.

What are some of the problems that plague your industry?
What is your target audience's greatest fear/frustration/problem? And so on.
