Under the Sea

We hired Andrew for my daughter's 5th Under the Sea themed birthday party in December 2018. Having Andrew attend with the live sea animals was such a huge hit with the kids as well as the adults! Andrew was able tocapture the children's attention and each child had the opportunity to touch a live sea animal. The room was filled with laughter and excitement from everyone in the room. Andrew came for our science-loving son's 6th birthday party and was so great. The kids were boys and girls and ranged in age from 3 to 8 and everyone was spellbound throughout the presentation. Andrew knew exactly how to hold the kids' attention and maintain order while making the animal encounters very personal. Any children that wanted to got to touch several of the creatures during the presentation, and the birthday boy was able to hold a couple of the more sensitive creatures. At the end Andrew was willing to stick around letting the kids see, hold, and feed the horseshoe crabs. I would highly recommend Under the Sea for an educational and engaging birthday activity. I have had the Chesapeake Critters assembly from Under the Sea visit our school for close to twenty years.  Andrew always keeps the kids interested and excited with the information and specimens he shares with the students. The pacing of the program is appropriate for the elementary students I formerly taught, as well as the middle school students I am teaching now. He brings an assortment of live animals and uses technology that allows even large groups to be able to enjoy them. I highly recommend the programs for school presentations.
