After much frustration trying to find a contractor to remodel my parent’s two bathrooms in their 1970 home, I got referral from a local Facebook group for Corey Stone, Ultimate Choice Roofing and Remodeling. I had several contractors who had provided an estimate for the work at my parent’s home and I was surprised that each quote was very high for the work we were requesting to be done. I also was disappointed when my mom let me know that she did not feel comfortable with some of the contractors because they basically ignored her ideas when providing quotes for what was her remodel. The quote I received from Corey was the lowest and most thorough we had received and best of all his timeline to start and complete the job was quick. Corey and Allen (sub-contractor) were great to work with. I was ‘overseeing’ the job from my home and they were always patient, informative and professional. Corey was very respectful towards my parent’s and even let me know he enjoyed time spent with my parent’s in their home. Recently I was the victim of a major hail storm in the Plano area. The storm totally distroyed my roof. It also did damage to my windows, fence, gutters, interior and other areas. I interviewed several roofing contractors but when I interviewed Cory Stone (president) with Ultimate Choice roofing, my decision became so easy. He not only helped ease my anxiety about the major repair task ahead of me but also took all the pressure off by handling the other required repair work (windows, interior, etc.) One of the biggest challenges we had was implementing some of the upgrades and architectural changes (metal roof accents) into the project like I wanted. Cory S**** and Ultimate Choice did an outstanding job on my roof which was heavely damage during the April hail storm. His crew arrived on schedule and immediately began work. The crew took no breaks and completed the job at about 8:15pm. Their clean-up process was A1. I have no pieces of single on the ground or in any of our bushes and have found not a single nail. In the 30+ years we have lived here we have had several roof replacements due to age or damage from hail and we can honestly say this was the best by far. My experience with Ultimate Choice Roofing and Remodeling owned and operated by Cory S**** was great. I made an insurance claim due to hail damage. My insurance company scheduled an inspection of my home to see what damage, if any, there was. Stephen E*******, Ultimate Choice Employee, was here when the inspector arrived to make sure the inspector did not miss anything needing repaired. The inspector found that I needed a new roof, new gutters, new window screens and beading, new fence stain, and several other smaller repairs. After I got the appraisal report and discussed it with Stephen, I decided to have Ultimate Choice do the required work. Stephen worked with me through all the steps. The following is some of the things that Stephen and Ultimate Choice did for my wife and me: Ultimate Choice helped us to select an upgraded roofing shingle from Lowe's. The roof looks immaculate. Ultimate Choice helped us to select the fence stain color and brand that we wanted. The fence turned out beautiful. Ultimate Choice fixed all 20 of my window screen and beading so they would all be new and match. Ultimate Choice made a suggestion to and agreed to paint and caulk the wood before installing the new gutters. We were given a referral to use Cory through a mutual friend. We were lost an unsure of which way to go. Cory came out and walked us through each step of the process including helping us to get more money! ! We had water damage from a leaking roof. We wound up with an upgraded metal roof, new Sheetrock in the damaged areas, new paint and beautiful Vinyl floors throughout the house!!
