I highly recommend getting the Ultimate Burger with grilled pineapple and avocado! So incredibly delicious and the bun was toasted to perfection. Wow! So delish!! Came here upon landing as it's close to the airport. This is in a strip mall and We needed to stop by Ross to buy sunglasses and we spotted this place to have lunch. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries and let me tell you it was bomb.com!Probably one of the best burgers I've had! I for sure would be at this place often if I lived here.The burgers and fries are cooked to order so it can be a small wait which I don't mind! The prices were average to me... much less than the prices at the resort we stayed at. We loved this place so much we went a 2nd time the day we were flying home.The customer service was meh... the girl at the counter is kind of snobby but whatever! Gotta say that this is one of the best burgers I have ever had. The place is nothing special. A counter, a few tables, a large menu board, you order and go sit down until your name is called. It is pretty pricey, so don't grumble about it being too much for a hamburger, its an unusual hamburger worthy of its roughly $9 price with some toppings. If you are in Kona and are not a vegetarian you need to go here. My husband is on the quest for the best burger, and has tried many more expensive ones that ultimate burger, but this wins his award for #1. Heck I only eat beef occasionally and never order burgers at a restaurant and I have happily eaten TWO ultimate cheeseburgers in the last 5 days. I tried one with cheddar and pineapple that was delicious, but pepper jack and avocado was my favorite combo. $10 for a grass fed burger with Tillamook cheese and avocado? You cannot find a deal like that in the Bay Area! You should definitely order the fries (enough for 2 people) and ask for extra aioli because it is divine. The service was great! Had some ono loa food! I love the fact that they pretty much make everything in the restaurant. Granted that since they do make everything, takes a couple minutes to get your food but honestly I wasn't even worried. As soon as I got my food it was prepped amazingly. I got fries and an ultimate burger. The fries are freshly cooked, you can see them putting the seasoning on top, and the sauce that comes with it is SO ONO! Like jeeez. I ate the whole burger and almost all the fries. Usually after eating large amounts of food like that, I want to knock out, however I felt so good eating this food and I'm no where near knocking out. Great burger. If you are looking for a local, delicious burger this is a great option in Kona. It's located in a strip mall so don't come here expecting a burger and a view. Menu had many options to add on to your burger which was awesome. We added avocado, sautéd onions and pickled jalapeños. Delicious. Only let down about the burger was the bun..if they used a pretzel bun it would have been to die for. We went to ultimate burger for dinner and were pleasantly impressed by the menu, the service and the quality of the food! The burger was amazing, prepared well done as requested, perfectly melted tillamook cheese and the tomato lettuce and pickles fresh and crisp ! The fries were also excellent. Amazing, local, fresh, home made, delicious--BUT TOO PRICY. My fish sandwich by itself with only 15%, (I usually leave more but couldn't) was $17. 09. No fries or drink for this price. Luckily yelp had a check in deal and I scored a free lemonade for checking in. This spot is near my work, if my small sandwich by itself cost $10-$12 even I would be here 2x a month at least but because of the price I won't be back until I have hungry tourist parents paying my way. Very delicious! I loved the variety of toppings offered on your burger. I enjoyed the ultimate cheeseburger with chili. I was a bit bummed that they were out of lemonade, as well as flavor shots in their soda machine. The cheeseburger was fantastic along with the French fries tossed in rosemary and time. Best fries ever, all the ingredients are so fresh, and the burgers are really well priced. I come from Houston, and any of the decent burger places charge $10 - $12 for a burger without fries. We found this place on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a try. There was a line and took a few minutes to even order and only a couple tables available to sit. Good burger joint in Kona Commons center. Beef patties are made from local grass fed beef.You select your burger and then any toppings. I chose cheddar cheese burger ($8.75) and added avocado ($2), bacon ($1.50), sauteed mushrooms ($1.99) and caramelize onions ($1). Was a beautiful and tasty burger but really messy to eat. I had to use a fork and knife.Their fries ($4) were thinly sliced and crispy. Enjoyed their homemade lemonade ($3).
