Enjoyed a girls luncheon on Saturday . The view, service and atmosphere was great! Ri clam chowder with kale salad with fried oysters was my meal. Everything was tasty and friends enjoyed lobster grilled cheese! Omg! That for sure looked very good! The view of the salt pond was a bonus! Â Â Â I have to say it's a lot smaller than I thought as far as seating . It must be crazy in the summer! Plenty of parking and a nice outdoor area with heaters. That I'm sure is a lovely site at night. We definitely made a good decision to go earlier than later. Â I'd say this is a hot summer dining place! Amazing Date Night casual dinner...Place was busy for a Monday Night but was seated fairly quickly.Started with a Dirty Martini ( blue cheese stuffed olives) and Rhode IPAWe had Rhode Island Calamari New England Clam Chowder I had Lamb Lollipop ( delicious )with mashed potatoes and broccoli (over cooked)Lobster Linguine The place is very cozy. Wow. Â Â I've driven by TwoTen for years, they're hard to notice off of 1... Â Â asked the baristas at Dave's where to go and this was one of their picks. Lobster mac and cheese was possibly the best I've ever had anywhere. The picture posted with this review was after myself and help of my brother got to it so portion size is more then fair. My wife and I aren't new to Twoten but haven't been since the menu has changed. We enjoyed a GREAT lunch there late August. The chowder was great. I'm picky about my chowder. Being from north of Boston, I expect a creamy broth of wonderfulness which RI struggles to deliver on. But that's what I got at Twoten. Well done! The calamari was also delicious. Not a usual RI style calamari because it has a garlic aioli but it was delicious, and you still got the marinara with it, if you wanted. The scallops on that Caesar salad were so fresh and delicious. They also did a good ratio of dressing to salad. Their steamers appetizer was ok. I've never seen steamers served with just a butter broth and nothing to clean the steamers. I was confused about the butter broth concept too because it's usually just clear butter. I didn't mind the taste of the broth though but did ask the waitress for another bowl to rinse out the steamers. That's my only critique of our meal and why they got a 4/5 rating instead of a 5. Places with shore views don't have to put out great food but this place goes well above great. A really interesting menu PLUS sushi and all the New England requisites done exceptionally. The steamers were the most delicious I've had in 30 years. Calamari was fantastic, ahi wontons and sushi so fresh. I can't wait to return to try all the things I couldn't jam in my craw the first time, AND the oysters! Staff was friendly and prompt. I love this place and I don't even eat seafood. But ambiance, view, and experience mean a lot and everyone, including me (a vegetarian), my wife, a seafood lover, and my picky kids, enjoyed their food. Plus, they have amazingly creative delicious cocktails. They even have a patio where they allow dogs and serve cold water in a dog bowl. A wonderful local seafood place on the water. I rarely give 5 stars but this place is really close! Can be very busy on summer days so plan ahead but is really a great spot for locals from fall-spring because it still has great food without all the crowds! So happy I finally got a chance to try this oyster bar during the off-season. We came for dinner around 5:30 for the Happy Hour specials. There is plenty of parking throughout the marina and surrounding area. Located right above the docks of snug harbor, the spot has multiple places to sit including a front patio with heaters, bar, indoor and a back covered deck; the space is deceptively large! We were just in time for the HH deals which included shuck a buck oysters, half price apps and fun martinis. My mom and I split 16 oysters and then each had the grilled octopus. Our service was very friendly and quick to bring out everything. Oysters were tasty as usual and locally sourced. The cocktail sauce was tangy, light and a bit spicy which was perfect with the oysters. I had the grilled octopus which came with two very large tentacles and an arugula salad. The octopus was good but a bit chewier than I normally like. Next time I might try the lobster rolls which looked extremely fresh, robust and filled with large lobster pieces. The rhode island style calamari also looked great. They have a good selection of non fish items as well for those that do not like seafood. TwoTen Oyster Bar & Grill is a large waterfront restaurant in South Kingstown, near a few local beaches and waterside sights. from a raw bar to other seafood options to comfort food grill eats, the menu is large with lots of options.a great location with a relaxed vibe. many seating options from the outside patio to the raw bar area to more standard tables on the ground level to a downstairs area that overlooks the water...the interior has that modern casual New England feel. TwoTen is definitely not casually priced--prices err on the high side. portions are big. the Portuguese clams was my favorite dish and is very shareable by 3-4 people. saucy clams with chorizo. yum. wish is came with more bread to sop up that sauce.*cobb salad is HUGE. two people could easily share this. that said, it was just solidly okay.*the sushi menu is good. the spicy tuna rolls are a good call.*the fish tacos are a good call as well.*beer choices pair well with the menu.for the price, Two Ten is more of 3.5 stars place. i rounded up.servers are young, but attentive and friendly. they jumped right into action when a downpour was flowing into the downstairs dining area.drops mic cuz i'm in 'GANSETT countryi outzzz More...
