We rented pods thinking once we filled them they would move them to our new home, 196 miles away, since they told us they were nationwide. Wrong the closest they would move our filled pods was 84 miles from our home. THANK GOD for Two Men and a Truck, they came to the Pods storage facility, unloaded our pods and loaded it in their truck and drove it right to our home 196 miles away and unloaded everything all in tact. I moved about 5 miles away and when truck came in 3 young men came in walked around and told me it would be about 2 hours to get my stuff. They were very capable and professional. In the process of the move I asked I thought it was going to be 2 men and a truck? Marquis replied yes him and I are the men and Mike is the truck! That was actually true. Mike like a machine he was wrapping and strapping! Lol!When the items were delivered they helped to set everything up my husband was about to overpay but they explained all the charges and fees got the correct amount taken out. I have NOT received anything for this review. Not my style. Eldie and Damane, my movers, were the most professional and exceptionally helpful people I have ever hired for any job anywhere. I am elderly disabled and slow. I am not used to being treated with the respect, patience and kindness these two young men gave me. They even did the move under the time estimate so the total expense was less also. Two neighbors noticed their efficiency and asked for the phone # so they could use the same branch I did. Initial phone call to setup the move with Chris H. was a breeze. Had the estimate emailed to me while I was still on the phone. Driver (Roy) and Movers (Kaci J. and Sean W.) were PROFESSIONAL, quick, and friendly. The move was not easy (three floors at pick up and drop off), but they never complained or stopped working. The 3 young men assigned to move my 3 bedroom condo were the most professional, hardest-working, efficient movers I’ve ever experienced. They were friendly and polite. They are very professional and very good at what they do! We had an extremely bad experience with other movers who cancelled us the day of! I was in a tough spot, needing to move out that day. I called Two Men and a Truck, explained my situation and they had guys out to me within 3 hours! They were so sympathetic to what I had just gone through and I wish I just had called them first!
