When I tell you that this is probably the BEST Sicilian pizza I've had in a long time. Please give this place your business, make the drive, it will be so worth it. I found this place on a whim because I was in the mood for Italian. Had I known where I was going to end up, I probably never would have tried the place. It's situated in the corner of a small run-down parking lot which houses a bar & gas station, among other things. But, looks can definitely be deceiving & I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. They are take-out only, but have a few tables & chairs setup in the parking lot for those that wish to dine on site. I tried their evening special, a house made gnocchi with saffron sauce and it was HEAVEN. My husband had their spaghetti & meatballs & it was also wonderful. The owner is a transplant from Italy & clearly puts love & thought into the food that he makes. I can only hope that they'll be able to expand into a sit-down restaurant someday; the quality of the food certainly deserves a bigger spot. More...

I've heard that this is the best Italian in Nashville. Bold words. Let's see. I stopped by and placed a takeout order for dinner, and parked in front of an unassuming strip mall. The people working were incredibly kind and my food was steaming when I picked it up. I took it to go since it was a little cold outside and guys, people aren't overreacting. The pesto gnocchi was phenomenal, and there was SO much of it. I also got the eggplant a La nonna and can also agree that was delicious as well. Definitely check this place out. They're destined for good things in the future. More...

First time trying was delivery. Had the arancini, vulcano side salad & Lipari (prosciutto & arugula) sandwich. Arancini was tasteless. Salad was ok, nothing great. Very disappointed in the panini. Least amount of meat and cheese possible. Bread was good, but that's it. Panini was like $14...could've gotten a giant from Jersey Mike's, been happy/satisfied and had $4 left over. May try again. Tutti da Gio was delicious! We got a large salad, eggplant pizza, pesto gnocchi and side of meatballs. Overall we were really impressed. Everything was reasonably priced as well. There are only 5 small tables on the "patio" (upgraded parking lot area) so expect to get your food to go. We went out on a ledge with the eggplant pizza and it wasn't for us. The pizza crust and cheese was delicious, next time will def try the spicy pepperoni. The star of the show for us was the pesto gnocchi, it was everything you imagine it would be! My husband loved the meatballs and said they are some of the best he's had in nashville. Pro tip: call and order ahead of time and plan accordingly. We called at about 5:15 on a Friday and it was about a 50 minute wait. Also, don't forget to order a cannoli. I tried to get one when we arrived to pick up our food but they were all called for. Ok I have had the special pizza and it was good. I would give it a it a 3.5. It was bacon but not much with red pepper flakes. But the lasagna was a 4.5 and it melted in your mouth. Today I had the salmon and cream pasta. It was so cheesy and creamy and the salmon was mixed in kinda like you would tuna and man it was very good. An easy 4.5. Next on my list is the 4 cheese gnocchi, the meatball sub, and i want to add meatball to the divola pepperoni pizza. This place is good. Its more for pick-up. The patio tables outside arent many and depending on the weather can be nice but there are no inside seats. Really good food overall and I am honest about my stars they must be earned. My 4 is many peoples 5.Update: Tried the gnocchi I am not a fan of dumplings it seems but cheese sauce is very good. I can imagine it with some fettuccine or angel hair pasta , now that would be the bomb. The meatball sub is massive and may be the best meatball sub ever. It can be a lot and easily could be good for 2 people. More...

Yes, yes, yes! Gio is legit! They've only been open a few months but I have heard so much about them I had to go check them out for myself. To be completely honest, the hype is warranted and the drive from Hendersonville was 100% worth it. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought I'd walked right into a shop in Sicily. I arrived shortly after opening and this lovely Italian family was already hard at work preparing for the day. They had undoubtedly been there hours earlier, but I digress. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming. They really couldn't have been nicer. For now, they are take-out only but they do have a few patio tables if you'd like to eat outside. I couldn't wait to dig in, so I took advantage of the table nearest the door. As everything is made from scratch, it does take a little bit of time to prepare your order, however the results are well worth the wait. Their pesto gnocchi is by far some of the best I've ever had. The dumplings were pillowy soft and perfect; the sauce was decadent. Completely well-balanced flavors that will have you singing love songs in broken Italian. Yes, it's that good. Of course, having seen the beautiful wood-fired oven, I couldn't pass on the pizza. I asked for the "surprise me special" and was not disappointed. Vincenzo made me a delicious Quattro Formaggi with the addition of a little sausage and potato then drizzled a little EVOO as soon as it came out of the oven. I don't know why I've never had potato on a pizza before, but I can guarantee that it will happen again. This was a very good pie. The knife-and-fork kind. The I'm-not-sharing kind. The kind I purposely only eat half of so I can have some more later. Do not skip the pizza. Please. I also ordered some arancini (which was brought home and immediately eaten by my wife. I did get one little bite though and it was delicious. They're also huge. Two baseball-sized pieces of heaven.) and brought home a cannolo which is currently waiting for me in the refrigerator. (I did sneak a bite before I put it away and it's absolutely amazing.) If you haven't been yet, you really need to get over there. Everything was absolutely fantastic and I am excited to go back and try more things! I'm even more excited for their success. Nashville needed this. I needed this. I hope they stay in business for a thousand years! Saluti! 🍴🇮🇹 #FoodiesOfNashville More...

This was definitely worth the drive. The arancini was just okay. It needed salt and was kind of dry. But the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the pizza was delicious! It had the taste of homemade freshness. It definitely gave me the feels of being in Italy. I do wish that I didn't have to eat it out of to-go containers with plastic silverware because that really takes away from the presentation and overall feel/ambiance of the meal. We wanted to try something different tonight. We rarely go out anymore, preferring to stay home on the couch while we eat. Something we got used to during the pandemic. Tutti Da Gio came up on Doordash as "try something new".We ordered the Gnocchi al pesto, the Margherita Pizza and the full size Vulcano Salad. We wanted to sample. Pricing was in line with what we expect to spend to have food delivered. The food arrived hot. It smelled and looked amazing. Generous portions.Ok...the Gnocchi might be the best I've ever tasted. Rich flavors with just enough garlic to spice it up. So creamy. Soft dense bites. I'm getting dizzy...The pizza was very simple but delicious. Just what we wanted. The edges of the crust were perfect for dipping into a glass of red wine. So good. And then the salad. Wonderful mix and quite generous. Would actually be wonderful as a main course with a salmon or chicken filet. Complemented the entrees perfectly. Two caveats...I wish they'd included one more dressing for the salad. More wonderfulness. And I really could have gone for a slice or two (or a whole loaf) of the wonderful bread they send.We will be ordering again. More...

This place has changed my life The pizza had a thin crust which I love and the crust was SO GOOD. Usually I need marinara to dip my crust in but I went plain on these. I didn't think I liked gnocchi because of the times before when I've tried it, but this one has changed the game. The perfect texture and the 4 cheese sauce on these babies is so creamy and delicious! The tiramisu caught me off guard - It tasted like a coffee marshmallow. We are so excited! We found a hidden Italian gem, both literally and figuratively. At the end of a small strip of a building next to the "Shooter's Lounge" behind a gas station. Be aware that there is really only inside space to order and then either "take out (which is what we did) or sit at their tables with umbrellas outside their storefront. My husband loves spaghetti and meatballs. We live in Mt Juliet and made the short drive to Hermitage to try this place out. Of course, my husband ordered the pasta al sugo con polpette ( spaghetti and meatballs). I ordered the Scicilian lasagna along with half a Vulcano salad and their dessert of Bianco e Nero. Total was around $42 with tax. Soooo worth the money and the drive. The spaghetti had the texture of being homemade ( which meant they were a little thicker and chewier than dried spaghetti) and the meatballs (4) had a great texture and flavor. I actually liked the texture of the sliced eggplant in my lasagna (didn't find the boiled eggs though). The eggplant helped lighten what would normally be a "heavy" dish. I loved this dish. The Vulcano insalata came with tomatoes, cucumbers, capers, Kalamata olives, red onions and greens with an Italian vinaigrette. A classic Italian insalata. Their dessert of Bianco e Nero was very rich but light at the same time. Filled cream puffs ( I think there were 5 of them) covered all over with what tasted like chocolate whipped cream and dusted with chocolate shavings. I loved this new dessert but hubby, not so much (as he doesn't like creamy stuff so much). Overall, a winner for us. We felt the Sicilian love and homemade quality for sure in their food. We were satisfied with the quality and cost of the meal and will be back to taste more offering from their menu. "Molto Bene!" More...
