Joe Turner and Turner magic provide an outstanding performance for a business group's recent annual dinner event .
His interaction with everyone prior to dinner and his performance after dinner exceeded all expectations!
What a gem. I would highly encourage anyone to consider Joe and his company for any event where professionalism, and humor, and overall enjoyment and amazement would be preferred. GREAT JOB. THANK YOU very much.

Joe provided the entertainment for our daughter’s graduation party. He did magic tricks with individual guests throughout the evening and a mentalist show for the entire group. The chief comment I heard was “How did he do that?!?” He was easy to work with a definitely entertaining. I’ve already had requests for his contact information! More...

Joe is not only a talented magician, but he does his show with the backdrop of a message. We used him for a leadership program and he rocked the house and made some great leadership points to our participants using magic.

Joe has attended a few of our events as a "roaming magician" (not sure what to call it, but that sounds right), just kind of going around the room and blowing people's mind.
It's fantastic!
I still remember a few things he showed us a couple of years ago, and I still can't fathom how he was able to do the tricks. His sleight of hand is unbelievable, and his engagement with his audience is superb.

My husband and I hired Joe to perform strolling magic for our wedding reception in 2021, and there are people who STILL speak highly of not only his engaging personality and how attentive he was to each table, but how overall they were amazed at the magic he did in such a close-up way! We have since attended several of his shows in the Atlanta area, and enjoyed each and every one of them. Please consider him for any reception or event you may be having and your attendees will do the same - speak of how much fun they had for a long time to come after the fact! More...

Joe Turner is a wonderful and fascinating speaker for any group. He has spoken to many of my college classes and has kept them enthralled - and, that is so difficult! His leadership keynote mixed with magic is truly unforgettable. I highly recommend Joe because of his professionalism and ability to deliver on what is promised! More...

Joe is a fantastic speaker and entertainer. He keeps the audience engaged.
How long have you been interested in magic?
I first engaged with magic through a small magic book my mom had purchased for me in a Disney book series. I also remember watching Doug Henning on television, and of course later came David Copperfield. It has been a continuing interest throughout my life and work in the performing arts (also including music and theatre).
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
At my show you can expect a polite, slightly nerdy guy to lead you on an adventure where you will smile, laugh, question reality, and leave feeling amazed. There is audience interaction and I do use volunteers, both onstage and seated in the audience. Nobody is embarrassed or made to feel foolish -- it's just an exploration of what is usually considered impossible.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting and interacting with new people and new organizations on a consistent basis. I love to travel and explore new cities and countries, and I love to keep in touch with my clients to see if I can help them continue to have successful events by recommending other great speakers and entertainers.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, I launched online virtual shows on April 3, 2020. By the end of May, my virtual programming had received two recommendations in the New York Times.
Stage Magic/Mentalism Shows
Stage shows and after-dinner entertainment for corporate events, galas, fund-raisers, and theatres.
Strolling/Close-Up/Walkaround Magic and Mentalism
Mobile magic and mindreading experiences in a strolling, walkaround environment. Add magic to cocktail parties, receptions, and other come-and-go environments.
Keynote Presentation
Not your ordinary opening or closing keynote. This presentation has no slides, but instead uses live performance to engage attention and serve as the discussion metaphor for the points being made.
Emcee / MC services
Engage and entertain attendees with an experienced emcee whose years of stage "flight time" will help keep your event moving. Short performance moments can help keep energy up, bring people back from breaks, and introduce other speakers. Every event is better with a great emcee!
Weddings/Private Parties
You don't have to be a corporation or assocation to enjoy professional magic perfect for your environment. Close-up magic, parlor/stage shows, or combination of the two may transform your event into something magical, remarkable, and unforgettable.
Virtual Programming
Interactive, virtual magic/mentalism shows delivered via Zoom. This is a unique way to engage a distributed team, and my work in this arena was recommended twice in the New York Times.
