Very flavorful and delicious! We got the tandoori medley, dosa Mysore, and aamwala (mango curry).  The tandoori was very well-cooked and tender. The dosa was definitely my favorite and hit the spot.  The aamwala was interesting, but not my cup of tea (mainly because I prefer spicy food).  Garlic naan was delicious! The mixed drinks are always excellent.Food is very nicely portioned as well. My fiance & I will normally split an entree with an appetizer with some naan and drink and be very satisfied. I love Indian food. It's one of those cuisines that are so full of flavor that you really have to enjoy it one dish at a time. Tulsi has an excellent lunch buffet that offered a dozen varieties of dishes that you can choose from, both meat and vegetarian. We arrived just as it opened on a Thursday afternoon and already their were eight full tables of people. The wait staff was very polite and brought over water immediately. Strangely enough I don't think other than water they sell any other drinks or at least they didn't offer a choice. I would have preferred an option and that is why I took a star off. However they do have a very large bar area with a variety of alcoholic choices. One of the things I appreciate about this place is that the local Indian population eat here, so to me that means it's pretty darn good, and after tasting it myself I must agree. More...

Each time I am at working around spring valley , nanuet , new city or Orangeburg ny are this is my favorite place to eat lunch I love their food and drinks I even called for delivery and food was delicious I wish they have another location closer to orange county

We ordered delivery from this place and was overall very happy. They have southern India dishes as well. The dosas were OK. The lentil, saag paneer and chicken tikka masala were very good. Tikka masala was a lot spicier than I'm used to, and I do eat a lot of Indian food. So just pay attention to the level of spice when you place an order. The most amazing Indian food this side of the planet! Every single dish we tried was divine!!! I can't begin to list the dishes we tried because in all honesty I've been coming here since they opened and most likely tried each dish. ..each one was perfection. The spice level is just right - you actually taste the food not chili peppers. Their wine list is well matched with the food and there's usually a few tables available -- don't be fooled -- I sometimes come twice a week and take out...its well worth a visit and extremely well priced. This is definitely my favorite restaurant ever. If you ever happen to pass by New York City, you need to stop and come straight here. The restaurant hits you immediately right when you walk in. The beautiful ambiance allows for a ecstatic dining experience. The environment allows for you to enjoy your favorite Indian dishes with a little bit of spice.
