Trumps Catering completely exceeded my husband's and I's expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, as we had multiple people at the wedding come up and tell us how much they enjoyed the food and wanted to know where it was from. Trumps also provided us with all linens including tablecloths and napkins, chairs, silverware, cake set up and more. They were extremely organized and did an amazing job during set up and take down. My wedding venue had a list of preferred caterers that I researched before deciding on Trumps Catering. Initially I chose them for their familiarity/experience to my venue (PS: if you're getting married at the Botans in Athens, choose Trumps! ) and price alone (they were way more affordable than other vendors I got quotes from)... but I quickly learned that Trumps had so much more to offer. Andree is incredibly helpful, detail-oriented, patient and responsive. She always got back to e-mails almost immediately and often was available to meet or discuss ideas and details either by phone or in person. Due to venue and time restrictions, I had to have a quick room flip during cocktail hour, which made other vendors I talked to very nervous about, but Trumps was confident and they were able to pull it off. And the free tastings were a HUGE plus! My parents and I were very impressed.

There were a few minor hiccups along the way and day-of such as having to revise our final proposal a few times due to not reading my emails carefully, having a different style of potatoes than we agreed on, and having less ice-cream than we requested (which we were refunded for, though) and that is why I didn't rate this vendor a solid 5/5. So I would say if you are extremely particular and are a perfectionist, just keep that in mind. But honestly, something is always going to go wrong on your wedding day so some of it is to be expected!

We were struggling to find what we thought was a reasonable price for catering in the Athens area, when we stumbled upon great reviews for Trumps. They are well deserved! We had a few appetizers passed, and then had a plated salad served after our intros, and the rest of the food was a buffet. I didn't get a chance to taste most of the appetizers, but the bacon wrapped scallops were a huge hit with our guests! The salad with the vidalia vinaigrette was light and really tasty. The carved beef tenderloin was a massive hit, as were the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes! The Trumps team is very responsive to emails and phone calls, and were extremely easy to work with. From the very beginning, everyone at Trumps was very kind, professional, and helpful. Working with André was a great experience. She gave us helpful advice and tips that helped us have the menu we wanted while also not spending money on things that weren’t really necessary. It was refreshing to have someone who was actually looking out for you. We also had a couple of special menu requests, like a specific salad my husband and I had while traveling in Australia, and André was able to have the chefs duplicate that. The food itself was amazing, as well. One of my favorite items that we added after going to a tasting was the sweet corn soufflé, which was a big hit with everyone. The Trumps team also did a great job setting up the reception site perfectly, and I didn’t have to worry about anything. We had a great experience with Trumps! They worked with us to achieve what we wanted. They planned and communicated well with us. They were quick to answer questions so we stayed on the same page. They even took my containers so they could pack leftovers from the reception for my husband and me to take on our Honeymoon. Trump's Catering came to my aid approximately 4-6 weeks before my wedding in August 2016 when my previous food plans fell through! They got us in for a meeting very quickly, and it was a very easy process to pick out our food, and they had a large selection. On the day of the wedding, the food was delicious, everything went smoothly, and they even allowed us to bring our own beer and wine for their bartender to serve our guests. Christina was in charge, and made the whole day easy and perfect. She was the day-of coordinator, and the point person for Trump's as well. I thought the food was amazing, the staff extremely responsive to our needs, and again Christina was the shining star (in the background), making sure my wife and I had nothing to worry about. The smallest details were covered, the staff was so professional we barely noticed them running around, taking care of our guests. I grew up in Athens, so I had sampled Trumps' food on many occasions. The food was delicious, and Andree in the catering office was a dream to work with. We had some dietary restrictions, and they made sure everything was perfect. We did not have a traditional wedding cake, rather we went with a cupcake tower and then 2 additional smaller tiered cakes which Trumps decorated for us (Even though we bought it separately). We had such a lovely experience working with Trumps! We talked to a couple caterers before deciding and Trumps blew the others away in terms of value and flexibility. Whatever we said we wanted, they were willing to do! We didn't really get to eat during the reception unfortunately, but they sent us home with to-go containers, so we got to enjoy as a late night snack. The food was absolutely delicious!! Trumps Catering was able to provide us with all around excellent service for our family's rehearsal dinner. The website is as helpful as the staff! Menu options are so extensive and there is no problem with substituting selections or adding on extras. I really was able to relax and not worry about anything. There was more than enough food, it always stayed hot, and the presentation was even lovelier than I anticipated. The manager was able to help me with timing and the entire staff was professional and efficient in all regards. I had the great pleasure of DJing 2 beautiful weddings at Trump's Catering & they are one of our favorite venues to work at in Athens. Not only is the staff very courteous but they are very helpful... BEFORE the wedding - they had a table already setup before we came so we didn't have to bring our own & they also gave us a ladder to us to help hang our lasers & projectors. DURING the wedding - they always checked with us to see if there was anything that we needed in the way of supplies or assistance. AFTER the wedding - they NEVER once rushed us during our breakdown process to get us out so we can get home....(which is often times a lengthy process)....in fact they even lent is the use of their flat bed hand truck so we could move all of our equipment in 2 trips instead of the 20 we did bringing it all in...this is not a slight against them at all (when we arrived only the COOKING staff was their so they were busy cooking)... otherwise I KNOW they would have let us use it then. Having worked WITH these good people on more than one occasion I'm comfortable saying, if you're looking for a great place to host any kind of event in the Athens area, THIS is the place to do it! But Trumps didn't just do food. They provided us with tablecloths, chairs, cake setup, and more. They did ALL of the set up and clean up. Andree met with us several times to make a perfect menu; I cannot praise them highly enough.
