My husband and I went at a friend’s recommendation (I had passed it there in the strip mall and always thought it was a candy place ) so we were really surprised when we walked in a saw the high ceilings and cozy decor. We had Taylour as our server, turns out that she’s a bartender, opera singer and absolutely disarmingly charming! The menu was well thought with exciting options and yet not the least bit pretentious. By the way, EVERYTHING sounded delicious. Dinner was creative, heavenly and perfectly prepared, (I have decided the truffle aioli should be it’s own food group). Our second time at Truffles was just as fabulous, though we had Marissa as our server, Taylour was bartending and made a Woodford whiskey sour that was quite yummy! Bottom line, three months later and we are pretty much regulars now. I was always a Mike’s Uptown girl before. I wandered into this gourmet bar and restaurant on my way to grocery shopping and loved it! They had a wine tasting night with a 5 course meal (including tax and gratuity) for $100. ...the menu looked exquisite and I asked when they would be having another one so I could come back. The bartender was kind and accommodating and I ordered a $9 glass of wine (and got to take a full, unopened bottle back home!) and some of the best calamari I have ever had in my life.
