I have been buying wood from TAG for years. They have the best selection of reclaimed wood in Southern California! You can find anything and everything you need here! They have hardwoods, beams, skins and they also do custom work! I have always found their staff to be friendly, helpful and insightful. They always ask what project I am working on and provide me with ideas to help me get the right wood for the job. They can help with the design and make sure you get the right look you are going for. I have seen a lot of the reclaimed wood shops in Orange County and in LA and True American Grain has the best wood out there! Brandon and the team are awesome. We had the best experience! They were extremely knowledgeable and they accommodated all our needs. We purchased beautiful wood from a barn in Kentucky to create a wood wall in our bonus room. Everyone took the time to give amazing tips for our DIY project. I want to start by saying that my experience with True American Grain is the most pleasant Business to Business relationship I've had to date. I commonly find myself discouraged by a dismal lack of true personable interaction when dealing with modern businesses both big and small, but TAG stands as a beacon in the fog. Collin spared no gesture in welcoming me with the warmth and kindness of an old friend - it was evident from the very beginning that he genuinely cared not only about my business but my happiness with the final product. Collin's communication and patience as a business owner is a breath of fresh hair, but it certainly doesn't hurt that he is simply an exemplary human being and an absolute pleasure to be around!Browsing TAG's expansive and beautiful collection of reclaimed timbers was a delight in itself. But the real magic happened when I finally came upon the pieces that spoke to me for my project. I experienced a sense of fulfillment and pride I can't imagine would have been possible if I had opted for virgin timber instead. The inherent character of the pieces was exquisite, but it was my collaboration with Collin and his unparalleled craftsmanship that really helped to put my project over the top. Knowing I'm able to give new life to a piece of reclaimed timber rather than taking that very life from an established tree is for me an invaluable service. More than that however, I never would have achieved the level of character and sentiment each piece now holds thanks to the crew over at TAG.
