Holy cow! What a hidden gem! Just finished one of the best falafel sandwiches I've ever had! The hummus was really fresh and flavorful! And cheap! The biggest downside was how long it took-over an hour to have it delivered, but it was well worth the wait! We'll be back! More...

This place. I don't even know how to begin talking about this place other than why is it so far away from where I live? Also, thank goodness it's so far away from where I live because otherwise, I would be so fat! I have come here so many times over the last few years. I bring my parents when they're in town. We've taken my father in law. We drag friends here when we want to celebrate. I have dragged my turkish friend here when he came to visit. I force everyone to drive out here because I want their food. With that said, what do we get? We get stuffed, for one. But we usually start by ordering the spinach and cheese borek. Then i order their khinkali because tiny beef dumplings are a form of love. HusBen likes the gyro wrap. I skip it because i can find similar dishes elsewhere. I order the pilav or the kofte kebabs. My turkish friend who lives in the bay area proclaimed their kofte kebabs are some of the best he's had outside of Turkey for a while. Let that sink in. They're THAT GOOD. In fact, the last few times i've gotten kofte kebabs not at Troy Mediterranean, I'm just mad that i'm not eating at Troy Mediterranean. The other thing we get is the Iskander. We always try to order it with fries instead of pita bread. Sometimes they comply, other times they push back. When we get it with fries, the dish really shines. Afterall, who doesn't love fried potatoes?We are usually too full for dessert. but one time i had their baklava and it was really yummy. Another time I got their honey cake. I also recommend that. Any time I am in Ballwin area, I have to order here. I am from Chicago and have been having trouble finding truly authentic tastes that aren't "fusion". Everything on the menu looked so good, so it was hard not to order too much. I started with the meat Somsa, "DELICIOUS!" Next, the Greek salad; it was very fresh and perfect with the amounts of feta cheese, and kalamata olives. Then, I ordered the lentil soup, which was good, but not my absolute favorite. Last, I ordered the sirloin beef kabob with the fried rice. The beef was AMAZING! They had asked, when I ordered, "how I wanted it cooked" and it was a perfect medium rare! "Oops...I forgot!" We got the gyro with french fries and a Greek salad. Gyro and fries were perfect. The Greek salad is what impressed me. We travel all over the country for work and eat Greek/Mediterranean often. I ALWAYS get a small Greek salad. This was by far my absolute favorite I've had so far due to the fact there was very little lettuce, the olives were super, the tomatoes were ripe and the dressing was absolutely delicious! If you don't love tomatoes and cucumbers, this salad isn't for you. It was perfect for me. Food still excellent, but I do want to emphasize that you should eat in. Carry out and delivery (we've been 'Dashing it recently) are very iffy especially when it comes to special requests. I ask for certain garnishes to be removed and they're all still there much of the time. Thankfully, this is a taste issue, not an allergy. But still--! More...

I have eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants but I don't think I was ever as satisfied as I was eating here because of two things mainly. First the food is amazing, so much flavor in every single bite. Secondly my parents love the food and they very rarely eat out and they are very picky about their food and they absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we were just traveling from Maryland to Oklahoma and lucky ended up here but most likely for first and last time.
