Absolutely amazing!!! They were so helpful with a quick turn around order. This cake was a surprise for my mom while she vacationed in Hawaii. Tropicakes made the delivery so easy. Such a beautiful way to me to always remember the start of 34 My kids attacked the toppers of goodies and LOVED everything. The glittery blue and purple orchids was a perfect accent that stuck out to me.. Tamara worked with me to provide a pineapple-shaped cake that was deemed too beautiful to cut yet so delicious that the happy couple couldn't stop eating it!An initial phone call followed by a few text messages and then even photos of the finished creation and finally a delivery confirmation. Found about Tropicakes online and was speaking with owner via text message. The communication and customization was fantastic! She gave me ample time and decisions on what I could do for the cake for my GF. I ordered the cake a few weeks in advanced on mainland and had someone pick it up it for me due to it being a surprise. 100/10, flavor was fantastic, the cream she uses is not overly sweetened with sugary, the "cake" was soft and delicious; design was overall what I wanted for my gf. I HIGHLY recommend that if anyone wants a numeral cake GET THIS ONE RIGHT HERE IMMEDIATELY. The key thing that everyone likes on a cake is the design and this did not miss a beat on what I asked for, (pineapple theme), all toppings are included in the cake except for the cookie banner that additional cost and WORTH IT for personalization. I'm so glad I stumbled upon Tropicakes on Instagram.  The  skull  cake was amazing and so perfect for Halloween!  Their cakes are not really like a cake (which isn't a bad thing), more of a shortbread cookie with the most delicious vanilla bean whipped cream filling.  It wasn't too sweet at all, reminds me of Japanese desserts.  Loved their attention to detail.  The raspberries were super fresh and even dusted with glitter and glaze!  I can't wait to find a reason to celebrate with cake, looking forward to ordering again very soon! She couldn't do a 50 cake that I wanted since it was sooo last minute, but was able to come up with a beautiful heart cake for my moms 50th birthday, and had it delivered to her work place. The "cake" is also less of a cake and more of a shortbread, so if you're looking for a softer traditional cake, look elsewhere. I don't know that I'd spend all this money again given the flavor, but if you're going for that particular look, they knocked it out of the park on aesthetics. More...
