Trista is truly a one of a kind photographer and person! Above all else, she makes you feel comfortable and validated as a person. Being in front of a camera can be so intimidating, but Trista does an amazing job making you feel relaxed and at ease, and brings the joy right out of you! My husband and I planned a VERY private, last minute elopement to California-- so not only was finding an amazing wedding photographer CRUCIAL, it was also something very intimate for us as we were not inviting any guests. There are a lot of options in LA but Trista brings such a warm presence to her work, all while hustling and working SO hard to make you look good. The day itself went off without a hitch, and she was like an extra pair of hands/the bridesmaid I never had. We ended up at Disneyland for the remainder of our day-- it was very busy at the park but somehow, when I look at the photos, it's like we're the only two people in them. She knew EXACTLY how to find private little spots for us. I was beyond thrilled with my photos, and with the whole experience. We also ended up being featured in Offbeat Bride, which I think was half because of her amazing photography skills. :)I can't recommend Trista enough!! More...

Trista was an amazing photographer for our wedding! Things were running a bit hectic as we were behind schedule and we were doing things ourselves. I cannot say enough positive things about having Trista photograph our wedding. She was creative, friendly and took amazing pictures! She got incredibly intimate shots and we didn’t even realize she was there! At the last minute, she maneuvered her schedule to support me at my Godson's birthday party! (On Mothers Day!
) Beyond that, photographing toddlers (3 and 4) is a feat. She captured all their moments, smiles and troublemaking - and photos of the family too! It was definitely a day to remember, and I'm so grateful we have photo evidence of it all!!

Trista is absolutely AMAZING!! I can’t say enough good things about her! I have a small creative business so at least once a year I need to get new headshots/ lifestyle photos taken, but I always avoid it as much as I can because I’m terribly camera shy. The session with Trista was easy and fun, and she made me feel very comfortable the entire time (and even told jokes to make me laugh for the camera)! Trista was absolutely fantastic! She is professional and talented, but she was also my 'wing chick' - helping with adjusting the bodice of my dress, letting me know when i had lipstick on my teeth and when we ran behind schedule. She was my photographer, bridesmaid and event coordinator all rolled into one. On top of that, she is just a blast to be around. I think her greatest strengths are her ability to help keep things rolling smoothly at the wedding, and her ability to tell a story with her pictures. She really captured the personalities of everyone she photographed. Trista is absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I were on a tight budget for our small courthouse wedding and did not think we'd be able to find a photographer in our budget. I got really lucky and found Trista online, I was able to book her a few weeks prior to the wedding and she was willing to travel all the way out to Santa Barbara from LA and did not charge a crazy travel fee. Her rates are budget friendly, she's super nice, and her work is great. Trista made my husband and I feel super comfortable (we are not "photoshoot" people). She provided us with a "sneak peek" of photos within a couple of days and I could not have been happier with the outcome. I am so grateful to Trista for allowing us to book her last minute, giving us an amazing rate, and capturing our wedding day so beautifully.
