I am a full service wedding photographer. My approach to wedding photography focuses on the emotion of the event. That is what fascinates and moves me, that is what draws me to photography. I always do an engagement shoot with my couples, I think it is important to get to know each other before the wedding day, and it helps me to understand you as a couple.

I get to meet happy people and be part of their most emotional day. What's not to love?
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to avoid wedding photography. I had heard all the negativity about shooting weddings, and thought that it would be stressful and tedious. Then a friend asked me to help out at her reception, during the reception, when she lost confidence in the budget photographer she had hired. I had a ton of fun helping out, and that led me to try shooting a full wedding as a second shooter. During the reception I texted my wife "I can't believe this is work." Then one day I realized that I had spent most of my time at my day job talking about photography. I left a 25 year career that was making me miserable to do something that makes me happy. On wedding days I never "have to go to work", I "get to" go to work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am working to position myself as a high-end full service wedding photographer. My goal is to connect with my clients, form a great relationship with you, and walk with you through as much of the process as possible in order to tell the full story of your wedding. That means I invest my time in getting to know you, behind the camera and as people. It means going to your dress fitting, or your cake tasting, rehearsal, whatever it takes to best tell your story.
Wedding Photography
My wedding packages include engagement photos, full day wedding coverage, basic editing, on-line photo gallery, and prints including a large canvas print of your favorite photo. When practical I also photograph some of the "getting ready" rituals like dress fittings or cake tastings.
Micro Wedding Photography
We are seeing more micro weddings due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. My micro wedding package is very similar to my full wedding package, but with less coverage the day of at a price that takes that into account. You still get engagement photos, basic editing, on-line photo gallery, and prints including a large canvas print of your favorite photo. When practical I also photograph some of the "getting ready" rituals like dress fittings or cake tastings.
Engagement Photography
I think that the engagement photo session is vital to building a good working relationship between the couple and the photographer. I don't want to be introduced to a couple 5 minutes before I start photographing the big day. If I am a stranger pointing a big camera right at you, that adds to your stress, and that's the last thing you need.
If you book just an engagement session with me, and then later decide that you do want me to photograph your wedding, the cost of the engagement session will be credited to the cost of your wedding package. That means you can have a trial session before you make a big commitment.
