Always a great dining experience. Ordered takeout tonight and it was just as perfect as dining in . By far best Italian restaurant in Winston Salem.

Lured in on Sunday night by the promise of their famous Sunday night spaghetti & meatball special and homemade pastas. (And our favorite Italian places are closed on Sundays). My husband declared the special “meh”. But the real disappointment was the lasagna. I’ve never had anything like this dish anywhere. Meats were puréed to the consistency of baby food - ok, pate’, since we’re all adults here. The mouth feel was inedible. And that’s all there was in it! Two inches of meat mush and cheese. No ricotta, only a smear of red sauce and all smothered with a giant slab of cheese. Don’t advertise fresh mozerella if someone who knows what melted fresh moz looks and tastes like! All the fresh pasta noodles in the world can not redeem baby food meat and store bought cheesy lasagna. Zero stars More...

My husband and I have visited about 4 times. Two of the visits were exceptionally great - stellar service and food. We have dined in Italian restaurants all of our lives, all over the country and in Europe. After our first two visits - we felt like we had found a gem. I was telling everyone that Tre Nonne was my favorite Italian restaurant - PERIOD. The last two visits (spaced about 4 months apart) were ridiculously bad. We are not going back - I really don't know why there is such a variance, but I am so disappointed :( - I really thought we found a favorite spot - something to look forward to. This is no longer the case for Tre Nonne. More...

Great service, clean establishment and excellent food. Five of us ordered five differently meals. So good we all shared a bit of each meal. Everyone was extremely pleased. Home made pasta, salad that was crisp and not wet, fabulous sauces and great bread. Though we were all stuffed (and taking home what we couldn't finish) we ordered a slice of cheesecake to split. The best cheesecake I have had in years. Can't go wrong here and we will be back. More...

Wife and I ordered fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti to go. The Alfredo sauce tasted like thickened milk the broccoli came out overcooked. The spaghetti sauce was Bland and thin. Besides salads we got and the garlic knots were excellent though. For the price there are much better options in Winston. More...

This is Little Italy come to Winston. The food is spectacular, the atmosphere is laid back, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the stuffed meatballs as an appetizer to share. Then prepare yourself to walk out stuffed and happy. More...

I have now been to this restaurant two times. My latest visit was tonight. I had their Fettuccine Alfredo which was excellent. Tre Nonne is a small, family owned restaurant. The people who work here are welcoming and make you feel like family. The food is very good and priced affordably. I love Italian food and these mom and pop type restaurants are my favorite! This is an establishment that I would definitely recommend and I'll keep coming back because of the great service and good food! More...

Having a hard time figuring out how some people could only give this amazing restaurant one star. I have been to this wonderful place 4 times now since I moved to Winston and it is just excellent. The food is fantastic and the service is outstanding. I am particularly obsessed with the Sunday gravy. It is just so delicious. Everything is homemade and you can easily tell. Never had a bad moment here. If you want truly great Italian food paired with caring service...Tre Nonne is your place. More...
