Training That Heels

One-on-One style in home sessions covering basic obedience. In the first session we will show you how to clearly communicate with your puppy and address basic behavior issues, such as, but not limited to; house breaking, jumping, nipping, barking, chewing, proper feeding, and crate training. We will also be going over basic commands- Sit/stay, Down/stay, and Place. In the second session we go over anything that you may need help touching up on, and then we finish with a structured walk. This structured walk shows you and your puppy how to walk in a structured heel and gain confidence out in the big world.

This package includes everything the Puppy Basics includes but is the next steps in training to get an off-leash trained dog with the remote e-collar. The e-collar provides both you and your puppy more freedom and flexibility in your day to day. Additionally the e-collar is an excellent tool to quickly and precisely address any bratty behaviors puppies typically display.

This package is great for dogs who are well behaved most of the time but are struggling in one or two areas. We will cover the structured walk, as well as introduction to both the prong collar and e-collar. Obedience commands we cover, but not limited to; Place, Sit/stay, Down/stay, and Recall. The e-collar effectively addresses any specific issues such as jumping, nipping, barking, etc. This program is geared towards dogs with smaller behavior problems that do not require a full board and train or a more serious training program. In this program we address all forms of behavior including, but not limited to: dog aggression, resource guarding, fear issues, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, and more.

We also cover all of the basic commands- Place, Sit/stay, Down/stay, duration work, Heel, Come/Recall, as well as crate training, focus work, waiting for food, waiting at thresholds, etc. It’s easy to teach a dog basic obedience and tricks, however some dogs need to be taught the behavior modification side of training which this package provides. We use low-level, communication style e-collar training, in doing this we teach dogs how to turn off and submit to relaxation. This is one of the clearest ways to communicate with your dog.
