The moment you step foot into Touchbyj you are made to feel like family. Everyone greets you with a sincere smile and makes you feel at home. I was recommended by both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, who have been coming to see them for awhile now. I called in the morning and had a mini consultation over the phone with Brittanie, complete with sending in pictures of my hair, which I loved because that told me that they know what they’re doing and would know what to expect once I got there. (New mom...hadn’t had a haircut in almost 2 years) Once I did get there they were all super nice and multiple people asked me multiple times if I wanted anything to eat or drink. The owner Scott was discussing with another client about their upcoming vacation and showed me pictures of where they were going. I felt so at ease and like family! I had my color done by Lissette, went from brown to red with all these fun highlights, it’s still gorgeous and I love it! Jeicoby cut my hair and did a fantastic job. It was exactly what I had asked for but lesson learned, bangs do not look good on me! My appointment ended up taking a few hours and they knew I had come straight from work so they actually bought me dinner from Filomenas down the street!! They also gave me an additional conditioning treatment at no cost which left my hair smelling wonderful! I had a cut and major color change so the cost was a lot but completely appropriate for the treatment. I will definitely be coming back to them when I can sneak away from the kids for a few hours. I’ve been a client of TouchByJ for a little over a year now. The entire TouchByJ team is absolutely awesome. Never have I been to a salon that has been more about friendliness and making sure clients are always being taken care of than here. Kaity did a great job on my blunt bob and it’s honestly one of the better haircuts I’ve gotten! She knows her stuff! Everybody in the studio was so thoughtful and kind. I moved from Mass to CT and was desperate to find a salon I could call “home.” I found TouchbyJ through their AWESOME reviews and decided to book my first blow dry appointment. I was taken aback by the wonderful ambience that embodies you as soon as you enter the salon! I was quickly greeted by the staff with smiling faces and made to feel comfortable immediately (they asked me if I wanted tea, coffee or a drink! Obviously chose drink LOL.) I’m extremely particular about my hair and the stylist delivered exactly what I described! Ever since my first time, I literally have an appointment once or twice a week with Kaity. I'm still in amazement at the cut and balayage I got yesterday from Kaity. She was super helpful and knowledgable and was able to perfectly execute what I wanted. The second you walk in the staff treats you like family and makes sure you're taken care of. A recent move from Wisconsin found me looking for a salon that was both style-forward and people-positive. And I wanted to keep it local and get to know my new home. After a bit of research, I found TouchbyJ Hair. I had a good feeling (plus I was getting desperate) so sent a FB Messenger text at 11:00 pm thinking I would hear back the next morning. FIVE MINUTES LATER I heard back! They were excited to have me come in and felt my best fit was with Melanie. A few more exchanges back and forth and they promised to get me some appointment options in the morning. They got back to me and Melanie agreed to come in on her day off and see me the next day. Wow!
