This was my first time coming to total look salon! I had one of the best salon experiences ever! I called this morning asking if they had any availability for this evening (I had an appointment at another salon and ended up walking out for bad service), they were able to get me in at 7:15 which was perfect! The person who answered the phone was so polite! She asked me a little bit about what I wanted to have done, my hair type, and told me the range of prices to make sure I was within my price range. After giving all this info, she scheduled me for an appointment with Stephanie.Upon arrival, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, offering me coffee, water, and even wine! Stephanie was very personable and knowledgeable! We started with a 15 min consultation where she asked me whaT I wanted to do with my hair, I had shown her a few pictures of what I liked. She looked at each picture and told me which ones she thought would be best and why. She even told me why she didn't think some of them would work. She listened to everything I told her, and was interested in what I had to say.Once Stephanie started cutting, she took her time and explained what she was doing in each step, what types of product she was using, and even gave me helpful tips to use when blow drying my hair. It took her an hour to cut my hair! (Normally at another salon they are done within 20 min). Stephanie payed attention to detail! She was very talkative and easy to talk to. I absolutely love my final cut, and will be back again (I already booked my next appointment for 6 weeks). I will be referring all of my family and friends to come and see Stephanie! I needed to book a waxing apt last minute so I was looking for openings all over Fairfield. I'm so glad I decided to go here! My boyfriend gets his haircut here (and hates getting a trim anywhere else) so he recommended I should go and boom, we both got $20 off our appointments since my boyfriend recommend a new client. I was so pleased with Christy and the wax apt that I would go back here in a heart beat! Acupuncture with Joshua Shain - from his consult through treatment he was wonderful! I felt at ease with him, he is patient & kind- explained everything he was doing - most important he got my qi moving again !! Joshua Shain is amazing!

This hair salon is the best I've found since moving here 3 years ago. Elise is the best. She listened to what I wanted and delivered an awesome haircut and was very nice as was the front desk. They made me feel very important.

Love Sonia.... Love the salons. Very clean, friendly, and always accomading. Sonia always talk to me how the last six went with my hair was. .... I have short hair easy to cut, but she really is interested if I have any issues with my hair... I can not use a blower....she cures my hair so I don't have to fuse with it. I have been coming to this salon for years and will never go anywhere else. I get amazing waxing done by Darcey, my hair color by Dawn and amazing haircuts from Heather. They are pricey, but they are well trainer and well mannered. I've had a few issues with the front desk and their customer service skills but if you speak up they apologize profusely and make it up to you. I recommend them to everyone! More...

This is the only salon I will go to.  The stylists here do a fantastic job and will make sure you leave satisfied, they really know their stuff !   It can get  busy at times , but as long as you have an appointment you will be seen on time, I have never sat around waiting. More...

I had my hair cut a month ago at Total Looks and was very impressed! When I cut my hair, I usually only get a trim, so I was very happy to find a salon with a $40 hair cut. I was even more impressed that when I left the salon my hair was actually dried! Too often, stylists don't completely dry my hair, which is very disappointing. Ivalina cut my hair and did a great job! I am due back soon for another cut!! More...
