The Summit was clean and the second closest Tops'l condo complex to both the beach and the Hilton Sandestin where I had my conference. Although the August 90 degrees even at 8 am left me with a mild amount of sweat after my 15 min beach walk to my conference, the stay was less than half the price. The rooms were mildly dated (circa 2007) but clean and convenient. The few issues with slow running drains in the shower and a cable box that did not work were quickly remedied with a workman by the next day. The family loved it! More...

Pure white soft sand. Occasional seashells if you look for them. So beautiful. Tennis courts spread throughout the resort. Very nice pools near the beach. Pool bar/restaurant is very good, but also a bit pricey. They have a tram if you need to take it from the beach boardwalk to your condo building. More...

We had a wonderful time there. We stayed in the Tennis Villa. Very impressed with amenities and spacious rooms. Everything was great, except we had some cockroaches getting in from outside. I figured it’s something that isn’t avoidable in a tropical area. The management was nice and helpful. They quickly took care of the roach issue. This place is amazing !! The beauty of the condos , the tropical plants and greenery on the property and the beach front area, the pools are all exceptional. The amenities they have to offer keeps you from wanting to leave the property! The free tram takes you around the property and makes beach life alot easier haha. Tops'l Resort is great for families! Not so much for us senior citizens. The whole place is beautiful, lots of great buildings and nice pools, Good beach too. But no restaurants on the grounds, only hot dogs, burgers and bar food. We spent most of our vacation dining out. Also this is a rental RESORT, NOT A HOTEL. We thoroughly enjoyed our condo and the amenities that came with it. Our condo had lots of space and allowed for us to go straight to the pool. The walk to the beach wasn’t too far at 5 minutes. We did not have beach chairs like other rooms and being on the first floor didn’t offer an ocean view but again, pool access was a nice perk. Our kitchenette provides just enough adequate space but we didn’t cook while staying here. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Huge bathrooms. Overall, the location was nice, but the the check in process was not very clear. Hotels.com did not provide accurate check-in times, nor the required information for looking up our reservation upon checkin assistance once on site. The resort area was nice, but not many on site amenities, and not not all that close to attractions. Our room was clean, but it was adjacent to another room with an adjoining door that was not well insulated. We could hear everything next door. If youre not staying in a unit with a kitchen, and do plan on buying groceries and remaining on site during the duration of your stay--this place would be great. The beach awesome and the amenities around condos are very nice. Several pools with food and drinks. Our condo was wonderful. There are many great places to eat in the area and if you like shopping, big outlet mall is just right down the street. The only negative thing I encountered is the road construction along Hwy 98. Making it from Miramar to Destin could take you a little more longer than normal. But other than that, we definitely be back to Tops’l, enjoy it every time. More...

I was even more impressed this time than the last that we stayed here. It was so comfortable and clean, and it feels like your own space. It’s so much nicer and friendlier than staying in a hotel. You can do laundry, cook and make coffee, and have your own privacy. The best part is having such a short walk to the several pools on site and also to the beach. This is so practical.
