Even though the ride didn't work out for reasons beyond his control, Steph, our driver, was terrific. He kept track of the flight and was at the airport when it arrived over 1/2 hour early. He called me very concerned when he could not find the rider, and he spent at least 1 hour looking for him. Due to a mix up on communication the rider had taken his own cab from departures. Last night our daughter's flight to Pittsburgh was delayed by 3 hours and scheduled to arrive after midnight. At the last minute, we needed a  car service to take her and her two friends from the airport to their downtown hotel. After checking with all of the referrals we had gotten from friends and business associates and being told that that they couldn't help us because there were many delayed flights and they were playing catch-up, I logged on to Yelp and saw Tony WIlliams Car Service. I made my first call to Tony at 10:07pm and at 10:30pm, after the flight finally departed the gate in Atlanta, I called him back to confirm the transfer. He texted the driver name, phone and instructions to me and my daughter around midnight. His driver met the girls in baggage claim and took them safely to their hotel, arriving around 1:30am!  Our daughter said the driver, Rick, was very nice and that he picked them up in a nice, clean Sprinter van. It was obvious that this service made it work for us and we were very, very appreciative that our three 19-21 year old girls got to their hotel safely. Thank you, Tony Williams Car Service. Yesterday (4/20/17), I had Tony Williams Car service pick me up from the airport and drive me to Ohio. I was originally supposed to arrive at the airport at 11:30am but due to bad weather I was delayed THREE times and ultimately was delayed until almost 7PM! !! Terry, the driver, was in contact with me throughout the day and was there waiting for me when I finally arrived in Pittsburgh. He was professional & courteous, the car was clean and oh so comfortable!! If I ever need a ride in Pittsburgh again these guys will be the ones I call! Here's my updated review of Tony Williams Car Service:Still impressed. They have a system down that should be a model for every other car service. On both our pick-up from the airport when arriving to Pittsburgh and leaving our condo to the airport, we maybe spent a total of 90 seconds waiting. Terry was our driver and he was helpful and pleasant and full of good information on whatever we asked. It was our first time in Pittsburgh so we had some questions. He wasn't that chatty driver just talking to talk. He was great. The car was clean, comfortable and didn't have any weird smells like others we've been trapped in. Tony kept in touch via text and was also very helpful and funny.The rates were reasonable, especially given the level of service. I was more than happy to tip Terry. We will be traveling back to Pittsburgh and without a doubt we'll be using Tony Williams Car Service again.There really is no reason you shouldn't either. Thanks Tony and Terry. I'd give these these guys six stars if I could. We traveled to Pittsburgh from New Jersey to see the Steelers. I was a little worried how I would get from the airport to my hotel with my family. So I Yelped it. I found Tony. His rating is 5 stars and it should be. He picked us up in a beautiful Benz van. He was awesome. Text message with a picture of the car and location on where to meet him. He seriously felt like a friend. Very pleasant. He even dropped some Pittsburgh history on us. He was great. So going home I called him again. He's sending a Cadillac to takes us back to the airport in style. It is a little pricey but a small price to pay for the luxury and especially the peace of mind. I used Tony William's car service to order a luxury van for my friends and I to take to a wedding that was well outside the city.  I contacted Tony through Yelp and heard back from him almost immediately.  He was very friendly and easy to work with.  Day of the event I received a text message from my driver letting me know everything was on schedule.  Our drivers name was Terry and he was right on time and professional and friendly.  Came back for us on time as well and even played some music for us in the van, and let us plug in our phones to play music as well.  (Sorry, our singing couldn't have been good!)The prices were very reasonable and a great alternative to a cab or Uber.  I would definitely use this service again. I'm a repeat customer.  A really pleased one.I use Tony Williams Car Service for rides between my home office and the Pittsburgh airport when I travel for work-related reasons--about half a dozen round-trip transfers between October 2014 and now, 3 of which were this month. Tony and Tim have been the ones to take my calls and to make my reservations, and they've always been exceptionally efficient and friendly and have never not been able to accommodate my date/time requests.  Best of all, for each trip I've been able to negotiate what I feel is a fair flat rate (exclusive of about a 20% tip) for all involved.  This car service is professional, sophisticated, and 100% reliable, and I really am all-around so pleased with it.The drivers deserve a paragraph.  I've been driven by Brett, Rich, Tim, Ricardo, and Troy.  All really good, though I've developed a soft spot for Tim and Troy because those two have driven me more than once.  There's about 40 minutes between my home and the airport, which is a big chunk of time for 1:1 chat.  All the drivers are skilled in the art of conversation, for sure.  There have been times when I've flown back in the evening from a whirlwind 1-day meeting, exhausted, and yet found myself enjoying the conversation on the ride home.Let's see, what else?  The vehicles.  I've experienced a few different 4-door sedans, all Cadillacs.  Consistently clean, no weird smells (always a relief to me), considerate temperature control.I like the quick and easy credit card payment via the driver's smartphone as well as the email receipt.  A reservation email confirmation would be great, so perhaps that's something that the company will consider implementing.Totally recommend Tony Williams Car Service for airport rides and would also jump at the opportunity to utilize this company for rides to and/or from a special event downtown, for example. Great service that I used yesterday evening on my arrival back to Pittsburgh. $65.00 from the airport to my front door which is about the same price +/- for a cab and the service was a lot better. Driver met me right at baggage pickup (even spelled my last name correctly, that is worth a star). The other 4 stars are the fact that the Yelp reviews were all 5 stars, driver was curtious, professional and easy to talk to/deal with. I needed to rent a large van to accommodate 14 passengers from the airport to our hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.  I'm a huge fan of Yelp and use that to find a reputable company.  Tony Williams almost hit the 5 star mark. Almost.Tony is quick to respond to my calls and emails.  However, there was a lack of little details as time drew closer to my event date, and I didn't get the detail until I already left Los Angeles.  I wasn't worried about my car, as we secured (in writing) my price and the date, but I had no clue who my driver was, or where to meet.  On the day of the trip, I got an email asking to reconfirm my headcount.  Fortunately I was checking email during my flight and was able to IMessenger Tony 3000 feet in the air.  I confirmed that I still had 14 passengers but 2 of my members had a full size suitcase. Apparently we needed a larger van or 2 small ones. Tony was able to get 2 vans for us, which worked out afterall.  One van would have been extremely tight for 14 people, so 2 vans made it easier... but naturally the cost went up.  Our 2 drivers Terry and Brad were excellent drivers. Friendly and chatty but not overly chatty. I got a text from both when they were at the airport, and they waited for us in exit 8.  Tony negotiated a very reasonable price for the extra van, and I tipped our drivers appropriately.  Aside from the miscommunication, I would recommend Tony.  If you're like me, who needs to know stuff in advance, email or call him for the answer.  Keep in mind that for transporting with luggage, go up a size.  The van he has is for tours and such, without luggage. I was scheduled to arrive at the Pittsburgh airport at midnight. I live in DC, so it never occurred to me there wouldn't be lots of taxis to take me to my daughter & son-in-law's house in Upper St. Clair. Fortunately, my son-in-law Nick knows more about that airport than I do. He arranged to have a driver from Tony Williams pick me up. We went to Pittsburgh thinking the city must look like the scenes we saw of it in the movie "Flash Dance".  Tony showed us a brand new Pittsburgh!  Our flight was delayed and Tony himself met us at the door. He took us on a mini tour on our way into town, past houses that looked like Archie Bunkers home and to a lookout on Mt Washington, telling us about Pittsburgh along the way. He introduced us to his beautiful city and made us want to see more. The next day we hired Tony to give us a driving tour of the city.  We got to see every neighborhood, hear about how Pittsburgh reinvented itself and even see a street made of wood.  If you want to really see Pittsburgh and get a real feel for it, Tony is the BEST.  The next day Tony drove us down to Falling Water and again, we got a tour of other sites along the way.  You can't get this kind of service from a tour bus or cab or driving yourself and reading a tour book.  This was a unique experience and I feel privileged to have gotten to know Tony a bit and really see the great city of Pittsburgh.  Of course, Tony returned us to the airport and we sadly parted ways.  Tony made our trip really special. Highly recommend this car service! We had a bachelorette party that we needed transportation for. We were going to get a large van but had girls back out last min so Tony was able to give us something smaller to reduce the price. The day before none the less. It was an amazing price- Adham our driver was very friendly and FUN and even picked us up some water for the ride home. The van was very clean and shiny and a classy ride! Practically brand new. Best service I never actually used!Several days ago my daughter and infant grandson were diverted to Pittsburgh because of weather problems.  Having no car seat she needed a limousine service to take her from the airport to hotel. I called Williams car service very cordial they agreed to send a limo to the airport. I had to call back to confirm they had the right car seat again very cordial and thanked me for calling back. She eventually found a hotel at the airport and didn't need the limo. When I called back to cancel they were extremely cordial and made extremely nerve-racking experience better. More...
