The food here was good, especially the breadsticks, and so was the service. I was a little annoyed when a live band started playing while I was trying to eat. We were on our way to Brava when we saw Tony P's. Something about it pulled us in. Tony could tell we were in from out of town and offered my son a cookie from the desert section. I've never seen a business owner offer something other than a free sample without the expectation of something in return.Most owners get really good at selling but something small like giving a cookie to a kid, really says that he is vested in his patrons. I really love the food here, and I usually do take out. I ate in the restaurant for the first time and the decor is very comfy, but the service was truly dismal. They forgot to refill drinks, forgot the garlic bread, never asked how we were doing etc. It was also a pretty quiet Sunday night. Hope to see their service improve! More...

I am from Wyoming a couple hours North of Denver. This is the 3rd gourmet pizza place I have been to in Denver. I don't remember the name of the other 2 places. But I will never forget Tony P's. Best pizza I've ever had. Tony P him self came by said they accidentally made our pizza in another style than the margherita pizza style we ordered. I came in solo around 5:30 on a warm, rainy evening in July. There were about 6 others inside, with modest volume enjoyable music and various muted sports on TV. They brought me water right away, which is always appreciated, and while I looked at the menu came out wonderful bread sticks (which solo diners don't always get). Brownie points there. Service in general was good.I ordered the baked ziti with sausage and it was overall good, although short of a 5* for this price range (meal was $17.28 before tip). It did come with a great salad, though, that I devoured. The ziti came out 22 min after ordering it, which with the bread sticks and salad was right on cue.I place seems to cater to families and kids well and is a good pass through for anyone who wants a decent experience.~ Humes More...
