If I could give this place a negative score I would! I have always loved this place, and wanted to get a cup of frosting for my special needs son's 16th birthday (who is tube fed and can only eat a little frosting). I wanted to pay whatever they would charge and they refused to give me a swirl of frosting in a container because it's "against policy"! I even explained what this was for and stated "you can't just put a little frosting in a container for a special needs kid?". The manager came out to state they cannot do it because it's "against policy"! I am now in tears at this point and asked if they can just swirl some cannoli dip in a container and she said no. I continued to say that I wanted something nicer than redi whip on a plate for his birthday which is why I went there and the manager stated that is what I should do because it's "against policy" to do anything for a special needs child!! I am completely disgusted by their behavior and response to me wanting to go to our favorite sweets place to do something special for our amazing son Ian, that his only joys are occasional frosting and Ipad!! The anger and sadness that I have in my heart is overwhelming. I hope you read this and know what a solid failure you are not only for my son, but for me as a parent trying to do the best for him! today was my first time there. we got a black & white cake...my daughters choice for her bday. it was amazing ! so delicious and not overly sweet. it was perfect and the pricing is more than fair. I am not sure I will go anywhere else again ! highly recommend! More...
