Always a popular place serving great food, with a staff willing to help and accommodate guests. At a recent event, held in one of their private rooms, there were at least seven tables of eight ready and waiting for guest arrival. The staff smiled and said "no problem" when the party hostess asked to remove the centerpieces so she could place her own. And though not on the menu, chef prepared fried fish tacos for one of the guests in lieu of the grilled fish tacos. I like the Tommy Bahama brand. There is just something about it that reminds me of vacation, beaches, and relaxing times. I like the clothing they sell at the store and I like the food they serve at the restaurant .STORE:  The store sells both men and women's clothing. The typical Tommy Bahama logo is a sailfish.  Given that they are a style that is based upon the islands, some of their items have island prints or Hawaiian prints.  I have a tendency to not purchase those items. However, they have mini polo shirts that I truly enjoy wearing. They are very comfortable and durable. They also have other types of clothing including jeans, casual pants, casual shirts, shoes, and accessories. For women, they have a plethora of linen and cotton dresses, shorts, sweaters, and accessories. My wife and I both wear their clothing.  TIP:  Tommy Bahama also has an Outlet Store in Texas City (next door to Bucees). If you are ever headed down to Galveston you may want to stop in.RESTAURANT:  Since I don't live in the Woodlands, I don't eat at the restaurant very often. The few times I have eaten there, I have thoroughly enjoyed the food. It is the casual American restaurant with the typical assortment of American food. They have everything from steaks to sandwiches, salads to hamburgers.  Almost everyone should find something on the menu that they would eat. I've never had an item on the menu that I didn't like. Please do yourself a favor and start any meal off with the coconut shrimp appetizer. The mojitos are nice and garnished with plenty of mint leaves a stick of sugar cane and a lime. We held a large breast cancer event here and Michelle and her team were absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better venue, staff, food and experience for our guest. We will definitely be back.

So today at Tommy Bahama was an interesting experience. My wife and I went to have dinner with our friends after church. When we got there we didn’t get the best of service and then we decided to leave but the General Manager Mr. Adrian Gonzales came to us as we were about leaving and asked us what was wrong and we expressed our concerns to him because this wasn’t the first time we have been going to Tommy Bahamas at the Woodlands. My friend had her wedding proposal dinner at this same location and I also wanted to have mine at the same location. It was amazing because we didn’t yell or disrupt the whole restaurant because we weren’t happy but respectfully decided to leave and only pay for our beverage but we expressed to General Manager how we felt and he handled the situation so well. He didn’t tear down his staff but rather apologized and offered to take care of us. He truly listened to our concerns and our recommendations on how the restaurant can be better. We ended up going back in after he insisted we didn’t leave but still fine with them. Our waitress even came back to apologize to us. I was so impressed because of the professionalism and how he was able to solve a situation rather than escalate it. I just hope more businesses acted like that. More...

I love Tommy Bahama restaurant and bar's because it is always so much fun going, the atmosphere is so cool and trendy, and the food and drinks were spot on. This one is located in the Woodlands, Houston Texas, And the store and restaurant is very large, and has a very cool tropical vibe to it. I got the blackened fish tacos here, which was the perfect amount of food and really reasonably priced at $11 for two tacos. I also got Prosecco, and the wine selection here is pretty extensive and they cost generally around $10-$12 per class. They also have an extensive cocktail selection if you're in the mood to get some tropical drinks.
