I was in the Rooster on a football weekend and found it to be a good place to have a beer, listen to music, and watch the people. I was there twice on the same day, early and late, and the crowd does change as time goes by. Early on it's mixed crowd age-wise and of course later the music becomes more "contemporary". In any event it is as advertised, a college bar with foosball, hoops, pool, beer, and Texas style fraternizing of the genders. Not bad. More...

The Dizzy Roaster has a Texas feel. Maybe it's the Texad flag with a 3-D star on the roof or the signs of famous Texas towns hanging from the ceiling.
