I've been to Timber many times for brunch (the complimentary cinnamon roll, plus the chicken and waffles meal is an impossible combo to beat) and recently decided to eat here for a birthday. The restaurant put together a last minute reservation for 9, and the service was amazing. My friends who hadn't been here before were amazed, and are soon-to-be regulars. Personally the lobster and scallops with risotto was perfect, and the grilled asparagus might be my favorite part, but I don't think a single person was disappointed by their choice. All around awesome experience. Two of our group had the burger/beer/shot combo and the third had the jalapeño and cream cheese pizza. Burgers were good, the pizza was great. The desert pizza was awesome as well and easily shared. Best part, and reason I'll go out of my way to be here was Jeremy, the bartender. He absolutely made the whole experience one of the best! This was our first time at this restaurant and what a great choice it was! We were there for a celebration with a party of 9 people. We were seated right away and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the drink selection and the food.  All nine of us thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we chose.  I would highly recommend the butternut squash soup! It was delicious! It had a neat atmosphere and a wonderful wine selection! Apparently they also serve brunch, which I will be trying sometime. We will definitely go back! More...

Timber has an amazing happy hour.  It is from 2-6:30 with great food and drink specials.  I went last night with friends and on Mondays they have half price bottles of wine up to a certain price.  We were able to get a Rombauer chardonnay.........YAY! Our server was great.  She was attentive and asked before happy hour was ending if there was anything else we wanted to order.The food was tasty.  We each ordered a happy hour snack and shared.  It was plenty.It is a go to for us and I'm glad my friends enjoyed it. Se enjoyed dining al fresco on a weekday evening at Timber.   Our server was friendly and did a good job of seeing that our meal ran smoothly. Our first courses were both good.  My baked summer squash was tasty, if slightly undercooked.  My husband ordered carpaccio, which for some reason failed to arrive with any bread or crackers on which to eat it.   An artichoke dip provided the bread, however.My panko encrusted trout was a very generous portion, but a bit over cooked, to the point were the edges were charred.   It otherwise tasted good.  It was served atop brown rice.For dessert our créeme brûlée was delicious, as was an apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.Drinks and appetizers are served all day long at a reduced "happy hour" price outside on their terrace.We are eager to return to try some of the other seasonal menu items. This was our first visit to Timber Woodier Bistro. We tried it because it wa celebrating Omaha Restraurant Week with three course specials. After we were promptly seated with our Open Table reservation, we ordered drinks while reading the menu. The service was excellent throughout our meal. We were celebrating two birthdays and they gave us an area that was private and quiet.Service was good. Pizza with pears on it was amazing. They also gave us a free dessert for the birthday celebration. It was scrumptious. I will comment we ordered mussels and they were way over cooked. I received a coupon for a free meal for my anniversary. Unfortunately I realized too late that it was expiring and my husband couldn't make dinner that night. The restaurant allowed me to use the coupon with my daughter. So at least it didn't go to waste.They had a special for half price bottles of wine - great. Meals were good. Very good!Kimberly was super! We were celebrating my brother and sister in laws 61st anniversary!! The table they sat us at was in a section that was very hard to hear or talk. Kimberly willingly moved us farther back into the restaurant and we were able to visit easily. So thankful for accommodating us. Food was delicious~ everyone was delighted with their meal. We came here on a Sunday morning so had the pleasure of trying their brunch menu and it was delicious. Large portions and full of interesting flavors. I was honestly disappointed by the vegetable selection in the veggie pizza. I mean, who puts carrots, celery, and squash on a pizza? Strange. I also expected the pizza sauce to be pesto, but instead pesto was just added on top.However... the monkey bread dessert was amazing! The vanilla bean ice cream with cinnamon was to die for. Love Timber! First time I went I thought is was so so. But I have been 3 more times and it's delicious! Waiters are always friendly! We are always greeted with a smile. My boys absolutely love the kids personal pepperoni pizza's. The tres chilis breakfast burger is so freakin good! Like seriously! Good bloody Mary's and awesome wine list as well.  All the appetizers are damn yum yum!!! We got the private back room for my mother and brothers birthdays and it was very exclusive because we got the whole back area to ourselves which was great because my grandmother can't hear that well and we needed a quiet restaurant.
