I rarely write reviews, but had to get the word out about my experience with Those Tech Guys. They mounted my TV and soundbar on a tiled fireplace using a MantleMount kit. There were some unanticipated complexities which required a second visit to complete the job, but these guys did a top-notch job and I love the results! I worked with Joe, John, Peter, and Ryan - all 4 were super professional, had an incredible work ethic, and were dedicated to completing the job with the highest quality levels - something I don't see too often these days. Jake and Julian were quick to follow up in any communications and ensure things were completed to my satisfaction. I love being able to support small businesses especially during these trying times, and particularly businesses like Those Tech Guys where they genuinely care about customers and they work hard to earn business. Peter and Ryan were awesome! Installed our sound bar in our RV, they really exceeded our expectations by showing us the work they were going to do, cleanly installed all the wiring and even hid the big power adapter out of sight. Peter and Daniel came over for what I thought was going to be a simple tv mount (Mantle Mount) over a fireplace on tile. So glad I hired these guys. I had no idea how difficult it would be to drill 4 holes through tile. I consider myself an average handyman and take my word for it - you want to hire professionals when drilling tile. Unless you have cheap thin designer tiles, it takes experience, tools, and precision to do it right. Kudos to Peter for spending over an hour just to drill 4 holes (not every tile is made equal and my mount required larger holes). It would've taken me an entire day and would've run the risk of cracking the tile while paying for special drill bits for the job. Add on the frustration that comes with not knowing exactly what needs to be done with such a delicate process I definitely made the right decision by calling these guys. Our TV mounting went as smoothly as it can get. ThoseTechGuys did a fantastic job. They were professional, personable and cost effective. We had a special request and ThoseTechGuys sent a highly competent guy. He found and connected a coax cable that had probably never been used and did not have a plug. From start to finish, these guys are fantastic. A great overall customer experience no doubt, even better job done and quality/attention to detail. LOVE LOVE the work they do, tv looks great mounted and will be doing business again shortly in living room with mounting a new tv. The install was smooth, they were respectful of the space and surroundings with having just moved in, were super careful which is all I can ask for! My husband was looking for a place to help us mount a new tv we had recently purchased and run the cables behind the drywall for a clean looking wall mount. After contacting a few different companies, we decided to go with ThoseTechGuys. They were great with communicating in scheduling and had good availability. After receiving my wall mount adapter screw, I requested another install date. They came out within a few days and was able to mount my TV above the fireplace.  It was a clean mount, everything was centered and adjusted well.  After they were done, they cleaned up and even took away the empty box that the TV mount came in.  Great work!!! This was for wall mounting of an OLED TV mounting on a tile mantle above an enclosed fireplace. Both Mike and Peter are amazing! The tile was a lot thicker than initially expected (none of us could really tell from looking at the wall, apparently!), but they were troopers and drilled through some thick tiles and mounted it without any cracks in the tile and connected all the cables and aligned everything. They both wore masks and very respectful of COVID safety measures! I would strongly recommend going with ThoseTechGuys for mounting TVs! Peter & Peter came out to mount my TV over the fireplace with a Mantel Mount.  They were very helpful, wore their mask, had the booties on to protect the carpet and looked over everything before they started.  They noticed that the Samsung TV I had didn't use the normal M8 screws which prevented them to mount the TV.  I have ordered these special adapters and once they come in, I will schedule another install.  They put everything back in the box and cleaned up.  Great guy's to have work done, in my case, I overlooked these adapters and assumed the M8's would work. Just wanted to give a shout out to Julian and Jake(?) Sorry I'm bad with names but these 2 came by this morning to mount a TV and they were awesome. They were done in like 20 minutes and I'm more than satisfied. Really cool, chill guys. They even wore booties in my apartment so they wouldn't bring dirt into my place. Very impressed with the promptness and professionalism involved on all fronts. I won't hesitate to call back for later projects even if I ended up cancelling this time around after a DIY windfall from a family member. I reached out on Yelp about a very sketchy potential TV mount I was considering into a gigantic and hideous rough stone fireplace facing. Jacob replied back almost instantly to get the conversation rolling, and then Julian contacted me, super conveniently over SMS, to follow up on an attempted phone contact I'd made earlier in the day--even after business hours. In the end, after evaluating pictures and considering hardware options, Julian advised that it'd be too risky with the depth of the stones and the unknowns about the backing support--a kind of integrity that I didn't get from a couple of other quotes that were essentially "yeah, sure, we'll make it work, whatever."After considering alternative options, I scheduled a more conventional and boring install on a normal drywall/wood stud setup, as I didn't have an extra pair of hands to lift a gigantic TV. This was very easy with transparent and competitive pricing, good communication on scheduling, and a very prompt availability given a holiday week for Thanksgiving.I got a surprise the next day, with a family member wanting to stop by to drop things off also volunteering to help with the heavy lifting. That let me convert the task into a DIY project, and then calling to cancel my appointment (talking in person with Julian this time) was again extremely pleasant and professional.Couldn't ask for more from the exchange I had and I'd highly recommend contacting them if you're on the fence. Ohmigod! This was the best decision we ever made for our home! We needed our TV mounted above the fireplace, but with no known history on the home we had no idea if there was electric or brick or even studs behind the wall there and thought we better call in the professionals. ThoseTechGuys were my 1st and only phone call. Julian and Jacob were super responsive and knowledgeable. They were quick to get me a quote and get me scheduled. On day of install, not one, but two guys named Peter showed up super friendly, wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. They took a quick look at the TV and the wall, knew exactly what they were doing, and half hour later I had a beautifully mounted TV with sound bar perfectly level and centered. SO excited!! My temporary solution of running ethernet cable through the halls in my house in order to work from home was turning into an undesired permanent solution. I contacted ThoseTechGuys about hard-wiring my office, and for advice on setting up a mesh wifi network since my existing setup was incapable of providing adequate coverage throughout the home. We had some Ethernet ports in our house, but weren't sure how they were configured, wanted to verify bandwidth potential, and wanted to add a couple ports in other rooms.  Julian came out and walked through the house and around the outside; we discussed where in each room I was hoping to see the ports added.  Julian went back, drew up a plan, and came back with a bid to add/change ports in 4 locations on the upstairs, main floor and basement of our house.  He and Josh came out and delivered the job in one day, which also included a good chunk of time feeding Ethernet cable through our attic and down into the walls.  They were great - professional, flexible, easygoing, everything worked perfectly when they were done, and it looks super polished.  There was a surprise along the way with our unique 100+ year old house's walls and they worked through the unexpected wall structure and kept us informed along the way.We are super happy we reached out to them, and would highly recommend them! Another 5 star review to add on the board for ThoseTechGuys.From beginning to end, the techs who came to our house to mount a new TV on our brick fireplace acted with professionalism, and above all, did a great job. Right before they walked in, they made sure to wear shoe covers, and this gesture alone means a lot in terms of a company that respects its clients.  Even when they needed to shuttle back and forth between the truck and back to the house, they made sure to remove their shoe covers before exiting the front door.  The TV mount installation itself was done in no time, and they came well equipped to perform said mounting on a brick fireplace (which, to me, who has just installed mounts on drywall myself, isn't the easiest task).  Throughout the process, we were well informed about what needed to be done, and our feedback was always sought when it was needed most.All in all, we are very satisfied with the end result, and we owe the techs who came to do the job a huge thanks for performing a great job.  We will certainly recommend ThoseTechGuys to anyone who needs anything done related to home theatre installations! Very satisfied with the quality or work done by Jacob and the team. Like many people, I have been working from home due to COVID-19. I have high speed internet with a wired connection getting me close to 100mbps but all my machines are connected over wireless due to lack of Ethernet wall outlets, I was going to run cables from my switch in the living room to the offices which would have been messy. Jacob and his team came in and were able to run the cables under my house through the crawl space, install wall outlets in the offices and now I can get faster connections speeds.
