I purchased a bedroom set and dining room set over 25 years ago from This Is It. Due to life changes, even though bedroom set was still in great shape, I needed a change. I kept the dining room set and replaced bedroom set as well as livingroom. Johnny listened to what I was wanting and found me exactly what I wanted. Mike and little Mike were very helpful as well. It seems like we always take the time to write a review when we want to complain about something. However, I want to take the time to acknowledge people that are doing things right. I have been buying furniture from This is it Furniture since I moved here over 15 years ago. I'm not going to say that there haven't been times where there been a piece of furniture that has been out of stock or discontinued but the staff has always made it a priority to make sure that all issues are resolved. I can't count how many pieces of furniture I have purchased from there over the years and I have been happy with everything that I have bought. Going into the store is always a wonderful experience. Big Mike's energy is immeasurable, Johnny's patience and compassion is always refreshing, Joe's humor and perspective of life reminds me of wholesome America, Little Mike's problem solving skills are always welcomed, George's cool, calm and collected demeanor makes you feel at home and Damian's spunky personality adds to the charm of the This is it Furniture family. I would and always do recommend this store to all my family and friends. Heck, sometimes, I stop by just for my free onion to make pico de gallo. Keep up the good work, guys! More...

Ordered a living room set. When it came in, I saw something on the floor which I liked better (it was not there when I saw earlier). So, I asked if I could use my money towards that. They had no problem with that. The price of the newer item was less than what I paid for my living room set. They offered me store credit. It was only about $50 or so of credit. I just asked Big Mike to help 'complete' someone's purchase with that gift card. A few weeks later, I got a text from some lady saying she got a small desk for her son, and I was to thank for that. May not have been a 'completion of someone's order', but I'm glad a young student could use that $50. I don't buy too much furniture, and not very often, but I would definitely come back. More...

I absolutely love my new couch from this is it! They told me delivery would be between 5-7 PM today I got a call at 4:45 saying they were 15 minuets away! The 2 delivery drivers showed up and were extremely knowledgeable of how to put together my tricky sectional couch they did it quick and I didn’t have to lift a finger I would give 10 stars if I could!! Earlier today I had posted a negative review on John and This Is It Furniture regarding a situation where I had felt intentionally lied to. My husband and I had gone in almost three weeks ago and placed an order for a sectional and were told that we would have it within 10 days. Then something happened to delay the order and John told us we would have it about a week and a half later, which comes out to tomorrow. When my husband called earlier today to confirm, he was told by another associate that we were actually on a 4-8 week waiting period. Boy, when my husband told me that, was I mad. I had thought that this was some shady business tactics and it did not make me feel good about this company thinking that we had been intentionally lied to. I even sent a personal message to this FB page regarding the situation. I thought I either wouldn't hear back or that I would be told some other crap to try to calm me down or whatever. Instead of getting a reply to that message, Big Mike personally called my husband (it's his number on the order) and apologized for the miscommunication and explained that normally it does take orders 4-8 weeks to come in, however John had done us a favor and did something to get it expedited for us, and the person my husband spoke with today was actually quoting the normal time frame rather than what was actually expected for our order. We were still on track for it to arrive at the store tomorrow. It's crazy how quickly it was between being told incorrect information to receiving a personal call from Big Mike. I want to thank Big Mike for setting everything straight for us, and John for hooking us up with some expedited shipping! I can say I'll definitely be back to do more business with you in the future!
