Jan was a delight to work with. He was skilled and professional throughout the whole experience. From determining what sort of event I was throwing, to requesting a list of desired songs well in advance of the event. I was made to feel completely comfortable that the music part of my party was in good hands. Jan showed up in plenty of time to set up well in advance of the agreed upon start time, and stayed late as my guests were having so much fun. The theme was 1960s and Jan even went to the trouble of ordering a costume to fit into the theme. He was an excellent DJ, accommodating all sorts of requests and really got everyone into the party spirit. I would hire Jan again in a second. In terms of value for money - Jan was excellent. We had a spectacular event! Jan did a wonderful job of communicating with me prior to and during the event, and had great sense on how to really keep the party rolling with all the kids and family members throughout our dance! The Fun Factory provide DJ/Karaoke for our split shift Caregivers Appreciation Celebration. Jan (DJ) was fun and motivating to get the party started. Jan is extremely entertaining and professional. He provide state of the art equipment and a personally far and above our expectations. We, I mean all 100 plus of us, had a wonderful time that will carry on in our crazy schedules. Jan was great! He was very interested in what the kids wanted to hear at the birthday party, and made sure to keep everyone involved. Jan did a terrific job DJing for our wedding. we had a pretty small wedding of just 30 people or so. Jan was able to keep a good group of those dancing as well as smooth over any akward transition moments. Jan was so helpful from start to finish! I hired him for a company party and he had the entire place dancing and singing karaoke for hours! He was very prepared and flexible when we wanted to extend our time by an hour. Our employees vary in age from early twenties to nearing retirement - he read the crowd well and played a mix of music and all the karaoke songs everyone wanted were available. Excellent, Jan was great to work with and was exactly what I was looking for.

Jan Peterson was helpful and pleasant from "hello", he had great suggestions and recommendations for a surprise 20th wedding anniversary I was planning for my wife. She usually does all the event planning, so I was a fish out of water. Jan explained his years of experience, expertise and that he knew how to get the party started and keep it going. With suggestions and his assurance, I found in Jan a trustworthy friend who I wouldn't have to worry about handling his part of the surprise - what a tremendous relief. (MC, music and dance lighting)

The wide range of music (70's through 2000's... we dance!) was perfectly mixed, the volume appropriately monitored and timely MC prompts throughout the event. The evening was planned to end at 11:00 PM but guests were not gone until 12:30 PM. For at least another hour after that, it was only Jan playing songs and my wife and I dancing to a mix of our wedding songs and our favorite fast dance songs. It was an event we will remember as well as our wedding. We look forward to calling on you again! Thank you, Jan!
