I love this yoga studio because not only they have great teachers and events yearlong, but also they are super involved with the community. The studio is the cutest in the area. It's located in the heart of OTR on a historical building. Has 2 floors: lower level with amenities to guests like tea, lockers and restrooms; upper level with the studio.They have classes open to the community, they also host classes for fund raising and they offer special classes at the reds stadium, the Bengals stadium, Morleins, historic churches, etc. More...

What a beautiful shala! Decor is gorgeous, super friendly staff and there are mats to use if you don't have one. I loved my Ashatanga/Vinyasa II class. Bravo and I can't wait to return. A perfect blend of spiritual and "yoga workout" loved it. More...

Here I am, contributing another 5 star rating for the Yoga Bar. I want to start off by saying, I don't usually "like" yoga and I am not particularly a yoga enthusiast. I see yoga practice as more of the, "eat your vegetables," of the exercise world: Something we should all be doing for our own health, but one of those things we would rarely enjoy on its own. I tried a class here one Sunday because it was walkable from my home downtown, and I am so glad that I found this space! First of all, the studio space is gorgeous and the amenities here are awesome: free tea, towels, water, and a small shop where you can buy clothes and accessories to tell the world just how much *you* like yoga. Seriously, though: the studio feels like walking into a catalogue. In the best way possible.Next, the Sunday class (Vinyasa Flow I) was everything I needed and more than I could have ever wanted. All skill levels were welcome, but I never felt like anything was over my head or moving too slowly. It was just right. The other attendees ranged in age and demographic, and the teacher was warm and friendly after class. I decided to join as a new student for one month of unlimited classes ($45 for the first month, as opposed to $18/class), and the three other times I have been back have been just as soothing as the first time. Yoga Bar has the best vibe & variety of teachers in town. They offer workshops that always seem to be right up my alley. There are tons of places close by to grab a fresh pressed juice, kombucha or healthy bite after class. There's plenty of bars & interesting chill spots, like Washington Park steps away from the studio. The community at Yoga Bar is as diverse from beginners to old timers with all shape, sizes, cultures and abilities feel welcome. Some classmates can drop back into wheel while others can't reschedule or see their sores over there guts, just like me when I first started or practicing yoga. Teachers are always available to chat after class to offer readings, encouragement & trouble shoot. They even offer free classes in Washington Park each week in warm weather. Did I mention the studio has a lil mascot Daschund that visits on occasion? Yoga Bar is easily in my top 5 happy places on Earth. More...
