Tonight was my first time at The Vine I am so happy we decided to give ot a try. The atmosphere is cozy, employees super friendly, and great pricing. I love the fact that the food options are different than what you will find in other restaurants in Douglasville. My boyfriend had the brisket pizza and it was AMAZING! I had the Texas brisket bowl and it was good. I would have liked a little more flavoring on the potatoes and vegetables but it was still a good meal. We were very impressed! Clean, quiet and the best part is that the Vine is doing a fantastic job for those of us that have special dietary needs. They have a lot on their menu for vegan, and vegetarians. I myself have celiac disease and gluten is my issue. The girl that waited on us knew the menu and the ingredients was very helpful. Walked in by chance today. Ordered the vegan version of the coconut curry bowl and it was delicious! Cashier was pleasantly attentive and gave me info in the happenings for the coming week. Was planning to order just for myself ended up taking a to go order for my hubby who loved the kitchen chipotle flatbread sandwich. Great portions and ambiance too. This is a real time review. Right now, i am enjoying the thai curry coconut chicken bowl and my my wife is enjoying the brisket Bowl. Both of these dishes are absolutely wonderful the brisket is the best tasting brisket she's ever tasted, including her own cuz she's a serious cook. Mind blown! I was walking around looking for something to eat as I am limited as to what I can digest. I stopped in from of the Vine Cafe and Market restaurant and was intrigued by the different items that were featured. I ended up ordering a pizza with fresh tomatoes, spinach and caramelized onions with fresh mozzarella herbs and spices. Being a New York native we are picky about our pizza but it was delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is eclectic, but wonderful. From the country tables to the music of Winston Marsalis it was very relaxing . The staff is accommodating and friendly. They made me feel wonderful and welcome. My congratulations to the owner for stepping outside the norm and giving us something refreshing, tasty and filling. Thank you Wali and your staff. The Vine Cafe felt very cozy! However, this restaurant is not a fast food restaurant so be prepared for your food to be cooked to order. We had a long wait before we received our food...but the Owners her polite and very professional! Our meal was free of charge and we were also offered a desert for our patience! The food was AMAZING!
