Its a young venue. I went in early because I'm old. Old and tired. I ordered a rum and coke thinking they can't make a bad rum and coke. They actually made a bad rum and coke. So then I ordered " Honey I'm home" it was delicious! The bartender was really nice and included me in the conversation which I really appreciated because I was there by myself. The Verve is a local hot spot for college aged people. They have an area with lounge seating and an area for watching people perform on the smallish stage. My wife and I spent about 6 hours there for our anniversary this last Friday..it was an awesome experience. We actually came in early, with the misconception the band started at 8pm. .but didnt actually start till 1030pm. However, the bartender was absolutely awesome and made our time there great! Very personable and polite and wonderful service. The atmosphere was laid back and the music was spot on. The time passed too fast. If you haven't heard David Goodier yet, you're missing out!
