I'm a Mizzou Mom, and for the college years went to CoMo for many weekends. I stayed at the in town locations like Hampton, Broadway, etc. You have to book almost a year in advance as soon as football posts the schedule. We had decided to come back for Homecoming 2019. First time back since graduation. Booking.com gave us a confirmation, but when I called to confirm months later, we had NO reservation. Dave the manager was able to find us two rooms, and the stay was amazing. Great location to everything. Parade right outside your door. Worth the money if you really want to do it right. This is an atmospheric old hotel, remodeled not long ago. The room (a suite) was very nice, spacious, with both bath and shower. No ice machines, but ice was delivered promptly when I requested it. What didn't go well was my request for assistance with things in my room that didn't work. I had to ask twice to get someone to come open the safe (the prior guest had left it locked), and even then the manager who eventually opened it left it locked in the open position (pegs out). When I called this to the attention fo the front desk--and showed them photos--I got only blank stares. I also called the staff's attention to the fact that the refrigerator wasn't cooling and two of the three phones didn't work. All of this didn't really distract from my enjoyment of my stay, but I found the management's response puzzling. More...

I am giving this hotel a 5 stars only due to the EXCELLENT customer service that one of the managers provided me by the name of MJ. I will admit that I did not receive the best customer service in the beginning of the booking process for our large event for our organization. The individuals that I spoke with initially did not relay the appropriate information to the correct people, I would leave countless messages with the front desk over the course of a month and received never received calls back, etc.. Unfortunately, it was as if I was pulling teeth to receive assistance. I finally was directed to MJ, and he made all of the errors over the course of a month, correct in a matter of seconds. He took the time to call me from his personal cell number when he was sick at home and ensured that all would be taken cared of. He has been extremely quick to respond when I have questions and willing to work any where to assist me in what I am needing for our company. He is a great asset to Tiger Hotel and would be a great asset to any business for the attention to detail and his eagerness to help. Thank you MJ!!!! More...

A super convenient hotel located the heart of an up-and-coming college town. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were sweet. The views were awesome. It was unbelievably clean. I don't like the fact that I booked through agoda, and I had to pay hidden taxes after my stay. I would not have booked through agoda had i known I was going to have to pay extra after my stay.

Stayed for the weekend at The Tiger Hotel with wife and 2 college-aged sons. Staff was always friendly, professional, helpful. Stayed in one of the "Executive Suites," and it was well-furnished, exceptionally clean, and had great views of downtown. Booked through Priceline (hotel doesn't currently have direct booking through their website). Awesome location -- walked all over downtown and Mizzou campus multiple times from hotel. Walked to multiple good restaurants (Shakespeare's Pizza, 44 Canteen, Las Margaritas, Heidelberg Sunday brunch -- and Glenn's Cafe in the hotel is a great choice, too). Lots of local stores having sidewalk sales. Hotel lobby is very nice. Definitely will go back to The Tiger Hotel. More...
