Fresh and delightful entrees and a slice of cheesecake heaven for NYE. I went with the pad Thai and my wife went with the winter pasta. Food and drinks were served fast. A little drafty sitting near windows and drinks are on the upper end price wise. Service was friendly and efficient. More...

Nice restaurant with healthy, locally sourced food, and they even have some basic options for picky eaters. It also has a solid price point so you won't be breaking your wallet. The only thing I will note is that the lighting is rather dark, which while it is nice for the ambiance it may be offputting to anyone with vision problems. More...

My husband and I finally tried the Table, after saying for years that we need to check it out! Everything was great, our only complaint is that the table we sat at (along the back, adjacent to the bar) was very uncomfortable, with minimal leg room. Since we are both 6 feet tall, we felt cramped, but everything else was great, and we will definitely return. More...

Have dined here on multiple occasions over the years and I've never been disappointed. On our most recent visit that standard was maintained. We dined al Fresca on the new(ish) breezeway area which was super charming and a nice addition to the restaurant experience. Our group started with the charcuterie with duck prosciutto and nduja (spicy salami) and a lovely Gouda. The ceased salad was great with the giant crouton and egg as a different twist on the dish. For mains we tried the new lamb shank which was very plentiful, tender and smooth. The purée beets and sweet potatoes were another twist from the kitchen that delighted. We also tried the very flavorful Mac and cheese with chorizo, the summer pasta and the pad Thai. All were stellar! For desert we had the Carmel Apple cake (amazing), the strawberry cheesecake (very good) and the pumpkin spiced coffee cake (good, but a little dry). Cocktails were spot on and delicious and our server was great. They all know so much about the great vendors they work with and try all dishes to make sure they can give you the best possible recommendations. More...

The Table is my favorite spot in the Short North! My family was visiting this past weekend and it was a no brainer to take them there since their menu is as local as you can get and is creative to meet the foodie demand while keeping a familiar vibe for my parents that do not like to venture far from traditional. It was bustling for Sunday brunch but their staff accommodated us quickly and attentively. We sat at the bar while the reservation before us finished. My dad loved the local roaster they source their coffee from. It is slow, from scratch cuisine. Come prepared to enjoy the ambiance and soak in the vibes from their open kitchen. The wait is so worth it! The dishes were beautiful and the drinks were generous. My parents had French toast and loved the house made cinnamon swirl bread and seasonal compote. I had the burger with house made tomato jam...the best burger I’ve had in Columbus. And my partner had the Mac and cheese loaded with chorizo, mushrooms and topped with an egg. Thank you for the wonderful experience! It was wonderful to show my family the very best Columbus has to offer! My mother literally could not stop raving about the tea cups...she said they reminded them of her grandmother’s and brought back wonderful memories. More...

The food was original and very good. I think the host was trying to seat us as best he could for our 7:30 reservations. However, that table was occupied for over two hours by a group not ready to leave. The host tried and seated downstairs as our group of six where we were alone And lacked ambiance and slow service. As a first timer with out of town guests, I’d still go back because of the food. Be prepared to wait on a weekend even with reservations. I guess we avoided the noise. “Kudos to the host for trying to do the best under the circumstances. More...

Took friends for their first visit. One is a vegetarian and for once she had trouble deciding what to have, as there were so many options. Nice problem for her to have! All of us enjoyed our meals, as always, and the service was good, despite only one waitress and a table of 10 in addition to our table and a few others. While it sounds picky, we were disappointed in the bread basket. First time we got it, admittedly a few years ago, it had all kinds of rolls and small loaves - a treasure of choices! Now it is just sliced cold bread. Tasted okay but not what we had hoped for. Of course, that was the only thing that wasn’t great! We’ll definitely be back More...

We've eaten at The Table on a number of occasions and it's always been great. Our dinner Saturday night was incredible and as is generally the case, mostly locally sourced ingredients. For cocktails, my wife started with the Blood Orange Cosmo and I had The Table's Margarita; both were excellent. For starters we shared a Solo Charcuterie plate with Chicken Liver Mousse and Duck Confit Prosciutto as our meat choices and a Blue Cheese for our cheese choice. Again, all were excellent. We then had the Beets & Burrata with Pistachio, Pine Nuts and a caramelized Orange Marmalade. The combination was inspired, with a tantalizing mix of textures and flavors. And for the main dish we shared the Shrimp and Gouda Cheese Grits. The grits were perfect, and the presentation was both beautiful and functional. Served in a bowl, the shrimp and grits were floated on a white wine butter broth with diced bell pepper, tomato, vegetables & chorizo. Our server Rachel was delightful, knowledgeable and engaging.All-in-all this was a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to dining there again soon, and we unhesitatingly recommend it visitors and locals alike. More...

It was a beautiful Summer night so we ate in the breezeway. The restaurant was not busy at all for a Saturday night. The servers were very attentive. As has been the case whenever we've eaten here, the food comes out slowly due to the kitchen size. But the execution of the food was excellent. My guess is that with the competition in the Short North the prices are keeping people away, as they are on the higher end. But we've never been disappointed here. More...

Excellent food - desserts could have been a bit better (utilizing more of fresh seasonal ingredients - cake was a bit too hard/frozen). I do wish that for the clientele they are attracting they did a bit more in terms of cloth napkins etc - paper napkins seem a bit too cheap in contrast to the pricing/atmosphere.Great variety for vegetarians which is very rare in Columbus so that is a huge plus.Wine bottle prices are a tad steep - some less expensive options would be appreciated. We've been meaning to try The Table for awhile now, and decided to give them a shot for brunch on a hot Sunday in July. We were quite surprised that the restaurant wasn't busy (maybe 1/3 full) around noon, but that certainly wasn't a bad thing. We decided to eat outside on their patio, despite the relative mugginess, and we had no complaints. Our server, Adrienne, was excellent -- chatty, and honest about some of the menu options. My girlfriend was torn between the Shakshuka and the Rye and Lox, and a good conversation about their relative merits convinced her to order the latter (despite it being Adrienne's favorite thing on the menu). I stuck with a classic -- French toast. I don't know why I don't get more adventurous during brunch, but I can never seem to turn down either French toast or eggs benny when I see them on a menu. In any event, the food came out in a timely manner, and we were happy with the portion size to cost ratio, and when we tucked into our meals, we were both generally pleased with the food. I can't say that the French toast was the best I've had in Columbus, but it was reasonably satisfying. My girlfriend was a little less happy with her meal overall -- the eggs were way oversalted, for one -- but she was impressed by how much lox they piled on, given that it was only thirteen dollars. Seriously, as much as I love Block's Bagels, they charge the same amount for about half the amount of lox on a bagel. So there's that.Ultimately, we decided that we want to try dinner here at some point, and Adrienne brought us some dinner menus (and the Restaurant Week menu) to check out what they have to offer. It really does look like a great dinner spot as well, even though we'll probably skip the Restaurant Week offerings with their $40 price point. All told, our service really was top notch, and we liked our experience enough to return in the future. More...
